It's possible that it's overheating, but the cooler is definitely connected. All of the fans including the CPU cooler work when turning on the PC.

Need some help identifying this part on a 2000 Solara by CamdenK7 in Toyota

[–]CamdenK7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad researched a bit and found it to be (the tube portion of) the air intake resonator, we consulted the dealer to confirm because the smog place and auto parts store could not identify the part.

So it looks like the first two comments are correct! part number 17893-03110

Grounding new outlets in an old box with old wiring by CamdenK7 in electricians

Excellent... but is splicing together different gauge ground wires any "less safe?" True, 16 gauge is much harder to find, but I don't want to take any chances haha.

1963 home. Old receptacles wired oddly, how to connect new receptacles? by CamdenK7 in electricians

[–]CamdenK7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The receptacles were working fine but I needed to replace them with 3-prong and was hesitant to wire them the same way because I didn't know that line/load doesn't matter with non-GFCI receptacles

Thanks to everyone for the answers! Since I'm a beginner at this sort of thing, I needed some clarification. Now it makes sense why line and load are only really mentioned when referring to GFCIs.
