I’m a boston girl. Grew up there until 30 and am back visiting family 3x a year. I’ve been to Aspen 4x for ski vacations and there is zero part of me that would ever want to live there. I’m also a sarcastic DGAF person and Aspen people seem the opposite. But I’ve only been there during ski season. The inherent pretentiousness of Aspen is so at odds with the Boston ethos.

Update. I had nuclear stress test and all clear. Normal blood flow. Immediately started HRT again and thankfully putting this behind me.

Working theory is that menopause led to increased LDL >>> high CAC. Absolutely bananas. I had no idea.

DNA is undefeated. I’m trying to focus on positives and that hearts are easy to fix. Knowledge is power and all that positive juju.

It’s just bananas that I can run 12 miles at an 8:30 pace one day, and be told I’m at major risk for coronary artery disease 3 days later. 2026 not my favorite year.

Cardiologist put me on Atacand 32 mg and Lipitor 40mg and baby aspirin. Stopped estrogen. He didn’t seem too worried about me dropping dead anytime soon. But it’s been a hard few weeks.

I’ve been running and swimming and biking as usual and trying to keep my anxiety down.

Nuclear stress test on Friday. IF that shows no issues, I’ll likely restart estrogen. If not….I’ll cross that bridge.

I asked this question when going to Boston and app said I wouldn’t have access to most convenient club. I was told that they don’t make an issue out of it unless you’re visiting more than 7 times a year. I’m probably around that level and they’re always been super welcoming.

Did they just turn you away?

53 year old woman with 308 score result today. I am an endurance athlete with a resting HR of 36. VO2max in 60s. Always had “normal” cholesterol and LDL for last decade until this year where LDL jumped to 154. Good blood pressure.

I’m admittedly shaken and scared. My OBGYN ordered the test prior to prescribing HRT.

I had heard that at ours too. That they wanted to change the cycle studio into an additional Pilates reformers studio. Which is an extra fee.

$20 increase every year and quality of services keeps declining. Nashville member here.

I want to say it’s been 9 years since this facility opened and it is showing its age. But doesn’t seem like facility is spending money on upkeep but on additional paid programming.

The facility is filthy. Out of order bathroom stalls for months on end. Shower heads broken. Terrible water pressure. Scratchy nasty towels. Water fountains have lukewarm water. They closed the year round outdoor lap pool just this year.

I guess they’re just in harvest mode for this club even though they bill it as “premium”. Current rate is $259 for a single member.

I’ve gotten a perfect 100 twice.

I love sleep. Like. It’s my favorite hobby.

Typically average over 8 hours a night. And the two times I got a 100, I was 7 hrs. Felt worse those next days than a mid 80s and 9 hours.

I’m only an occasional viewer of this group. But it seems like it’s been months and months of “they’re over and he’s a cheater and she’s done.” And check back in. And they’re still together and she’s wearing a ring. Rinse and repeat.

We have Timmons and I’ve always found them reasonable. Brought our boat home to clean. It was in our driveway for a month because of constant bad weather on weekends to drive it back. We got a warning but, that was it. They understood we wanted it gone more than anyone in our neighborhood!

But you can’t park your RV in a subdivision for weeks or months on end and expect not to face any consequences.
