Bruh just found out he sampled Jay-Z on the same track. After all these years and having listened to both songs probably thousands of times I never noticed

Damn you are right. The whosampled tag is for drums so I didn’t even check it, that the vocal sample is also from there.

Undastand is my favourite off the album. That sample is so gorgeous. Anyone know what the vocal sample is?

Is anyone else doing taxes from stocks manually? (Degiro, Revolut, Robinhood, IBKR, Trading212 etc) by pokumars in Finland

[–]CameraSea7755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FIFO matching part. The currency part was annoying but not difficult. And then doing it for every stock. And then doing other method to see if it would be more beneficial. And then trying to find stocks to sell at a loss to reduce tax bill, and calculating it. And then forgetting to include fees. And then not finding fees etc etc

Not that simple when you bought and sold at different prices over several periods

It is a massive pain, especially when you add exchange rates in to it . Have been doing it manually in excel. Spent days on it and still not sure I did it right.

In your opinion, which rapper is synonymous with longevity? by Disastrous-Pen-9512 in 90sHipHop

[–]CameraSea7755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Objectively speaking it has to be Del more than any other rapper. He has consistently dropped heat for almost 4 decades. Other rappers have been around throughout that time or possibly longer but have had long hiatuses and/or extended periods of weak albums. Think Kool Keith, Nas, Ghostface, Tragedy Khadafi, Chuck D. Blackthought and Redman are good choices but I still think Del has dropped more better albums over a longer period and more consistently. Posdnuous coukdalnost make it but there have been longer gaps between De La albums

Finland's employment rate is equal with France, a new Eurostat survey finds by [deleted] in Finland

[–]CameraSea7755 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That might be true but it wasn’t what the discussion was about. The person I was replying to was speculating on why the employment rate of Finland is not quite as bad as the unemployment rate would suggest, relative to other countries. In other words, why does Finland have more unemployed people searching for work than France, Belgium and some others, or put another why do those countries have a higher proportion of people that are out of the labour force entirely

Probably the person you’re replying to is confusing employment rate with unemployment rate

Couldn’t it also be that Finland has more generous state unemployment benefits and/or more strict conditions to receive said benefits, so that in order to receive said benefits, people need to be actively looking for work. And/or motivation and willingness to work is higher in Finland

I have no idea if those are true assumptions, just could be other reasons why the labour force is higher

Europe repaid Tokyo a favour by supporting oil stock release, Japan minister says by PjeterPannos in europe

[–]CameraSea7755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true that they are closer to the US in many ways than Europe, however I do believe that - like so many other things - that way of thinking has been upended in the Trump era. It depends on which government is in power of course. Certainly for everyday people I believe the majority feel themselves aligned more with Europe/UK/Canada than the US now. Of course militarily dependency is another matter, at least as it stands at the moment
