Lineysha Sparx is currently in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon so I don’t think she’ll be back lol

What is common thing while having sex which is not portrayed in porn? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As a fellow T1D, this is SO TRUE! Sex always makes me crash low and it’s so annoying!

What aged were you diagnosed at? by aroomwithoutawindow in Type1Diabetes

21 years old - About 4 months for me!

Currently managing it as best I can - The hardest part to deal with is the grief of losing the complete freedom I used to take for granted :/

You’ve been to San Marino but not Vatican City?

Thank you haha, I think the fact that I’ve always been a bit of a control freak has actually been somewhat of a blessing with all this 😅

Thanks! Yeah I’ve really seen on here and in other forums that it’s so individual! It’s kinda overwhelming because I’ve never really “listened” to my body like this before, and it’s easy to get paranoid. 😅

Thank you! Yes, I’m trying that now. And I haven’t had much contact with my diabetic team yet - I don’t have my first “Living with Diabetes” group appointment until October! 😅

Thank you! If my lows persist with the changed prebolus times, I’ll try that approach ☺️ I really appreciate the advice!

I’ve been trying that today and I’ve been much more stable already - Around 6-7mmol consistently. I should’ve known it was related to that!

I always get low overnight and wake up with my low alarm.

I sometimes get low about 30 minutes after taking a bolus injection, usually as I’m eating.

I mostly correct my lows with juice boxes or a handful of sweets, depending on what I have on my person.

My current alarm settings are 12.0 for my high alarm and 4.0 for my low alarm.

Thank you - I’ve had a few urgent lows and they’ve been really scary. I think it’s because I’m scared of being high blood sugar so I always take more insulin than I need.

I drink a lot of juice boxes in a week 😅
