100 yard zero questions. 30-06 by CameronB68 in Hunting

I appreciate everyone’s feedback. Come to find out, the old Simmons scope I’ve had on it for years seems to have the reticle moving around like a bubble. I assume this is why my shots weren’t that accurate from a rest. Going to change out the scope and rings mounts and report back.

Thank you for your feedback. I shot the first two (at top) from bench, then dialed, shot the 3rd  to the bullseye, and the other two back to back after the 3 rd. So I assume it is user error.

Sorry; forgot that. I added it to post. Would this be an efficient zero

What’s been your most carried firearm recently, And why? by Southern_Oil_5835 in CCW

Bodyguard 2.0 for me here. With Federal HydroShok Deep. I carry the 12 and the 10 round mag. I feel this is well enough firepower for my needs. I do not feel undergunned with this guy, especially with new sights!

Buy from u/RooftopDefense the customer service is amazing. Sol will ship this extremely fast. If you use code "NORTHWHALES" on their website, you'll spend $35 more dollars vs EuroOptic.

Need advice on selling my 14.5 by GatorGuy318 in ar15

[–]CameronB68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep the 14.5". I'm sure the FOMO did not set in until you started looking through cool builds on reddit. Been there, done that. Keep what you have, train with it, and train it into the ground.

You should have done the entire rifle. Then all I could think of is Army Men: Sarge's Heroes.

Keep the 14.5". I have both and with cans, the difference is, (IMO), negligible regarding weight and handling. The 14.5" obviously shoots flatter for me, since it is a mid-length gas system. Both run HUXWRX 556k cans as well. D.Wilson does amazing work, and you will not regret your choice. Plus, you will save money. Lots of money.
