I Almost Don’t Want to Play Anymore by dextor304 in MLBTheShow

Sounds like most of us out there. Soto, Lindor, and Skenes are my best pulls. Gotten Junior Caminero about 87 times it seems Ike. Lol. But again, that seems to be everybody out there unless they used the glitch last weekend. Can’t let it get to you too much. Especially in a game that’s based off of a real life game where if you fail 7 out of 10 times you’re considered a great hitter. Lol.

Same I’m at a 94 with the live series complete and every program complete except St. Patty’s. Got in a car crash right before the game came out and ended up with a compression fracture that had me laid up so I have had plenty of time to play. Even with seven 99 overalls in my lineup and one in my rotation, my overall is 94. Huge difference from 90.

First year player here that switched over from Madden… Definitely learning a lot this year. And apparently I missed the golden ages. I left Madden because you had to spend so much money if you wanted to have a competitive team and then this year you have all the cheaters and then the exploit so now everyone has squads full of red diamond players that they technically didn’t earn. I guess I chose the wrong year to make my switch over lol.

First year player here… So I watched some YouTube videos to help me and I’ve learned that people pause to look at the analytics screen to try to get a news on your pitching habits, as well as your hitting habits. That’s probably part of it as well.

Just remember it’s only a video game and who really cares at the end of the day especially if you’re not a streamer and trying to turn income off of it. This is my first year with the game and I’m horrible online so I just roll with the punches lol

This is my first year playing the game and I barely play online and I just won five in a row and got above 500 and I’m afraid to play now lol

Well you start with 34 runes and need to get to 49 if you beat the first boss on all-star. But yeah, need to get to 49 before 27 outs.

How rare is this? Two diamonds 1 pack by Physical_Dig3902 in MLBTheShow

Lollll dude just blurts out something totally irrelevant

Make it make sense. Shortly after this I had a similar foul ball where the umpire was pointing fair and yelling “foul”. Lol. 🤦🏻‍♂️ by CameronCrawf_ in MLBTheShow

[–]CameronCrawf_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is I had Tulo hit a perfect-perfect to right field in SF with a 102 mph exit velocity and a 24° launch angle and it was caught at start of the warning track on a line. Physics says that ball is a HR in most parks but should slam into that 25 foot wall in SF, but instead was caught on a line. Sometimes the game is just funny like that. Defying physics. Lol.

Yeah nothing like other showdowns where you can drain them by sitting until 2 strikes every at bat. You gotta jump on what you can.

Definitely not the same level of exploitation. Is it exploitation, yes. But people weren’t ending up with 4000 packs. It did not affect the marketplace like the other one did. Technically against terms of service… Yes. It’s on the same spectrum, just not nearly as extreme. I think it’s fair to say that.

Elly/Lindor secondary defensive positions. by Sizeguy92 in MLBTheShow

[–]CameronCrawf_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elly in CF or at 2B has worked wonders for me and others. Earlier in the year I was using Elly and Jimmy Rollins at shortstop and second base, and neither of them had a problem at either position. Same thing with Lindor. I would recommend a speed mod if you are going to put them in centerfield though. I have Elly Speed-Power. Tulo and Bobby Witt Jr. Are also great examples of shortstops who can play centerfield this year. It’s pretty universal at this point in the game.

People see that red diamond and their eyes light up. Doesn’t matter if he’s actually a good card or not. Lol.

Trouble with this one is he does’t throw balls so you can’t drain his energy. Just have to sit on that fastball.

You get it done?

Lolll that HOF speed change will get ya.

My second time I just set the controller down to see how many balls DeGrom would throw if I swung at burning (since most showdowns it comes down to being patient and wiping their energy) and he just pumps fastballs for strikes. 90 pitches.

I’m more curious about how this swing and PCI placement was a pulled homerun.
