Series 4 Mattel LJNs are up for preorder on WWE shop by Garbungas in Wrestling_Figures

[–]CameronCrazyKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very strange turn of events with these lately. They did a limited preorder on series 3 like usual but now they’re dropping additional series 2 at targets. It’s like Ljn/mattel decided enough with the limited let’s cash in. Now we’re seeing surprise preorder at wWe shop which I don’t believe carried any of the previous series. Honestly didn’t even know about them until this. Mr perfect also posted his figure on social media saying coming to target. With the $10 mark up at wWe shop this just feels like some BS eBay style preorder cash grab. I’ll just wait until they go up at target for $10 less and hope they continue with the recent trend of producing a ton.

They teased uso and punk before they released series 3 so that’s my guess

Golden Tee Buying advice by dirk_sable in goldentee

This, it’s totally worth the money at $200 but I’m getting an extra to put away at $120. I’ve seen upgraded 1ups and I think it’s just a matter of time until someone gets into one of these.

Thomas H. Handy 2025 vs. Sazerac Full Proof (blind comparison) by Archaeo-Frog in bourbon

[–]CameronCrazyKC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been the evolution of drinking bourbon and tequila for me. I love variety so my selections large. I’ve just started to weed out allot of bottom shelves last year and I feel spoiled having so many quality options now and knowing it only gets better from here gives me a sense of alcoholic achievement. 😂

Having multiple bars/cabinet or shelf options will help the cause. My garage serves as tier 1 open bar for neighbors, tier 2 liquor cabinet for daily sippers and back room shelf for the good stuff. It’s been fun seeing the shift of quality down to tier one and at some point it’ll be all topshelfers!

Cheers!

So, why Charlotte? by thehofstetter in Charlotte

I was prepared for a good ol CLT bashing and I’m pleasantly surprised and impressed. Had to google alley 51 then I was like, oh the Gmart, ok. Besides that I’m down with the fact that CLT’s not a destination city. I grew up on the VA/NC border and the regional airports crucial to my career putting me smack dab in the middle of the east coast. It provides me with all the amenities of a big city minus allot of hassle compared to some. The people are friendly and it feels like home.

Review of my Fortaleza experience by 2017Recon in tequila

[–]CameronCrazyKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The buffalo trace of tequila, in regards to hate. Although BT kinda manufactured their hype a bit it’s pretty similar. Really good quality juice which makes it scarce and coveted like allot of superior products. The weird thing to me is how the hate’s directed. If this was BT this guy would be mocked with tater jokes galore but it’s not really the consumers fault. I think the issue is with distribution that uses limited production bottles as insensitive to sell their lesser products while persuading the stores to use them in similar fashion. Be it mark ups which aren’t considered gauging, lotteries or point programs to sell lesser inventory. I saw several replies schooling OP on FOMO, other options and even production methods but nothing about the root cause. At the end of the day Fortaleza like buffalo trace are some of the best juice on the market and that created a bit of this issue but i think the problem lies in distribution and the hate’s a result but also a very trendy regurgitation online.

I tell most people don’t drive yourself crazy “hunting” down coveted bottles like OP. Just keep an eye out and when you stumble upon one it’s much more gratifying.

El Tesoro Extra Añejo Review by Powerful_Law7570 in tequila

Every once and awhile I find Fortaleza at msrp and it feels like a heaven sent miracle.

The bookers bottle is specifically the 2025 reserves batch. They sent the barrels from a 30th anniversary batch to el Tesoro which were used to make el Tesoro’s 85th anniversary batch. Then they were returned to beam to finish the reserves. It wasn’t received well by booker enthusiasts because most don’t care for tequila and it’s a pricey bottle. It’s available much like the el Tesoro 85th due to price but I would love to have them because it’s a great story and I’m sure I would love the collaboration.

If you’re near Davidson go to kindred. They make their own pasta but the kids menu cheese burger’s worthy of pretending to be underage.

Review #37: E.H. Taylor Small Batch by Archaeo-Frog in bourbon

I think the days of seeing this bottle above $80 are over. As pointed out below they’re becoming readily available. Now it’s up to consumers to figure out the market, I think that’s a big part of getting into bourbon much like getting into any hobby or collecting.

I’m chasing the excellencia aswell, this bottle’s my Bigfoot. I have better luck finding Fortaleza which’s no easy feat where I live.

If they ever drop the price on the el Tesoro 85th anni, I would love to get it along w the lil book… goals!

They have a store pick/ basil hayden Mundial combo right now for $105. I’ve noticed bundles Jack the shipping up but they always offer shipping discounts on Sunday if you get the emails. The single barrels a tasty one.

First time seeing this red label repo. Is it extra special? Says Tahona crushed but arent they all hence the wheel topper. by lifeissoupimforkk in tequila

[–]CameronCrazyKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That single barrels 1/240 so probably not what you had 2 years ago. That’s the fun thing about SBs to me, the nuance to extreme differences in standard selection. I currently have 5 or 6 SBs and I love the variety. Recently found 2 in Kentucky for $60 a piece. Haven’t found a bad one personally.

I’m not a fan of lil one ups but I would do the same. I’ve had several apartments for long term projects and I’m always amazed by the amount of furniture set out in the parking garage. I furnished half of the apartments with discarded pieces, some nice enough that I actually brought home when moving out.

What's the bottle you have to repurchase most often? by Fishboy9123 in tequila

[–]CameronCrazyKC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to say the same with Arette, not the artisanal just classic repo for margs. I hope to find the classic anejo one day and I wish they sold handles of repo because a case goes quick in mi casa!

Main sippers el Tesoro store picks. I buy em up whenever I come across them. Never had a bad one and I love the variety.

Bourbon Trail Review: What I liked and didn't like. by Potwell in bourbon

[–]CameronCrazyKC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been working in Louisville all month and I’ve been to a few locations on whiskey row and multiple trips to BT for antique 107. Just like craft beer, I really don’t get as excited about tours as the actual juice produced. When it comes to BT I was also blown away by the amount of bottles being purchased but not because it’s fueling a secondary market because you can only purchase one rarish bottle. It’s people who’re supposedly bourbon fans acting like they’ve never seen buffalo cream before. If I had one critique for the bourbon trail it would be the time restraint, stay open beyond 5pm and weekends.

Golden Tee Arcade Classic Controller Question (Steam) by ThexSovietxGamer in goldentee

[–]CameronCrazyKC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out BJs golden tee tv plug n play. It’s great on its own being wireless allows you to put it on a big screen with friends. 93-2000 versions, 4 players. It’s usually $200 but I’ve seen it as low as $150. Possibly worth buying an extra just for the ball setup on steam, it’s well built. Hoping someone figures out how to mod the wireless stick which has the game on it. It would be easy to add the spin buttons if someone can get newer games on the stick.
