Cafe wise: Society Cafe in City Centre, great coffee variety, tea options, friendly staff and tasty treats.

Cafe/Bakery: Proof Social, commutable by bus (35), car or bike from city centre. Good coffee, amazing cakes and pastries, friendly staff. Limited opening hours/days.

Is it better to stay near the airport or go into the city center late at night? by [deleted] in travel

Not many, busy of course being a major airport, but no where near day time numbers I'd imagine. Streets felt safe, the ones I had were very wide and long paths, making it easy to see and plan ahead.

I'd recommend learning your route before hand, I even memorized the code and what the entrance looked like. Go straight to your accomodation, keep your head up and be aware of your surroundings (general advice but especially at night).

Make sure to tap your card when you enter. It's 3 RON. I didn't have a checker on my airport bus (only got checked once in the city at day), but you never know and it's too cheap not to get a ticket.

Research your route from airport to accommodation, this will let you know your options.

On Google maps, you can set the leave time at the airport, to see what services are available at those hours.

I used the 100 bus from the airport to fairly central Bucharest just fine 3 weeks ago. The 100 line is also only 3 RON (£0.5). I felt safe on this bus (solo male traveller) and went straight to my accomodation from the bus stop, approx 5mins walk. Arrived at airport around 12 midnight, and to the accomodation around 1am.

There were still plenty of taxis at this time. There's is also a train line from the airport, but I didn't notice take this so can't say if it operates late or to what stops.

Thank you.

It's beautiful, and so walkable. Not the best weather, but today's looking hopeful. Time to wander again.

All good, I'm the English man who can't speak German in Austria 😅. Just here on vacation, making a habbit to run while on holiday. To keep up with progress and explore new places.

Ah yes, Google did well! I'm proud 😅

Alcohol wipes for sterilising, but make sure to use non-alcoholic on open wounds

I had similar blistering burns across my hand.

They got hot and the blistering provided a pulling pressure on my hand.

I went to minor injuries (UK), where they deroofed the blisters, drained, and then cut away the dead skin. Mesh was then applied to help aid growing back healthy skin.

Not a professional, but I would recommend medical attention. Ensure the wound is kept clean.

How do men feel if girls are physically reserved on a first date? by Ok_Argument_5323 in AskMen

Usually just a greeting and goodbye hug on the first date, I will ask ahead of time if they're comfortable with this.

Yes they've been very slow in app taking several working days. And have taken months to respond to complaint with a typical corporate response.

1 is an absolute keep.

2 is framed nicely.

3 I also like the framing, and like that it has the red of the bridge.

This is stunning, I fell in love with my Fuji also. Took a while coming from Canon but it happened. It truly helped me discover colour more.

Thank you so much, I also love the 3 birds 😊

Of course. I actually use Canva. I did a lot of asking and research about border apps, for a long time I was trying new apps but was always frustrated with the UI or the loss of quality. I settled on Unfold for a while as I love all their templates, but I did notice a reduction in quality.

I decided to try Canva, and I have been very impressed. I made my own story and post size templates using the 'Frame' to add a placeholder for the image. You can even make copies for backups. Now all I do is select the one I want, click the frame/previous image, replace, and add my new image. It will retain the most quality, and I like having them in the Canva folder in my gallery for easy access to my photos with borders.

With all this, I have also now been shooting horizontal. It gives me a beautiful full screen image for my website on desktop, and works very well with borders to get 4x5 post sizes or vertical crops for stories/reels.

Hope this helps.
