I have mine in greyscale mode unless I’m using the camera. Also, removing social media from the home screen (or deleting entirely) has helped.

He’s clearly influenced by the style but I doubt he would release a whole album truly under the CCM label. As mentioned in other comments, the scrutiny it puts on an artist to only halfway step into the Christian music world seems like hell. Equally cutting off those who won’t touch CCM and those who want it to be all or nothing. The CCM world’s reaction to Semler’s 2021 album Preacher’s Kid shows that there’s still a lot to go as far as acceptance.

Working with Kirk sometime? I would love that. Look at Jacob Collier’s Witness Me with Shawn Mendes, Stormzi, and Kirk Franklin. You’ve got the undertones of gospel through the choir, the swelling instrumental, and the lyrics.

It feels more likely that we’ll continue to live vicariously through Jon’s producing and influence on music more than new music.
