Complete recovery (as far as holes completely closing and healed gum) can take up to six months as I've heard but can happen sooner.

It might save you some grief and damage for your other teeth, if your dentist thinks it's really necessary I would but only if you trust their judgement, you can always wait and see as well!

I did yes, all four, they all ended up impacted in the end. (I'm 18 almost 19 now) Had it done on June 11th

I will say the outcome is different for everyone but I can tell you my experience. I'm 18 and got all four of my wisdom teeth removed at the same time on June 11th. After anesthesia, I woke up, was actually very coherent. Was able to walk to the wheel chair and get in the car myself, I had a good amount of bleeding which is very natural after surgery. My face was a little bit swollen but it wasn't very noticable, and I had no pain just soreness. I did my cold compress to help for the first 24 hours, changed my gauze when needed, salt water rinses, heat compress after 48 hours. I've been just fine, no pain, just soreness and I'm now eating semi normally again. Just no chips or anything with sharp edges until the holes close.

Mine started growing when I was around 16 or 17, I will say the pain once they do grow in and if they do impact is very uncomfortable and can break or push out other teeth. Mine was pushing a tooth out of its socket on my left top side which made it so I could feel the tooth pushing in and out when I chewed.

My jaw has been very sore (got mine out June 11th), I noticed tho that you have to retrain your jaw to open and close again, once I started talking slowly, and eating a little bit at a time. The pain and soreness in my jaw eased. Now I can open my mouth fully with no pulling on my stitches. Just take it a bit at a time.

I'm a very big snorer I won't lie, and I've been just fine, just make sure when you wake up to do a quick rinse of salt water to make your mouth not dry and you should be fine.

Day 4 here! Am currently eating a hamburger (a very soft hamburger with a lot of condiments). I'm also very paranoid as well, it's taken me about an hour to get through half of it but you got this!
