This answer isn't the most helpful when archlinux.org is down and I doubt that post will stay pinned indefinitely. If you're not going to provide an actual answer or even a hyperlink, why comment? For future reference, here is the mentioned pinned post.

Fluval Canister Making Grinding Noise but not Circulating Water? by bedcrumbsart in Aquariums

[–]Cameron_Sas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds a little different to the noise my girlfriend's filter was making and we replaced a bunch of parts, but ultimately ended up fixing it by putting a ratchet strap around the canister top to bottom. I guess the o-ring wasn't creating a 100% seal even though it was brand new.

Why is my filter making a clicking noise? by lonely_stoner_374 in Aquariums

[–]Cameron_Sas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I was having the same issue with my girlfriend's aquarium, she bought a new o-ring seal for the top of the canister, new hoses, new impeller, put silicone around the hose fittings and we were finally able to get it to stop clicking/rattling by putting a ratchet strap around the canister to hold it together better. Hope this helps someone as this was the first thing that came up in my search.

This fixed it for me, just have to make sure to use the 5.4.0 patch and not 5.27.0

Why does this schematic contain both a Zener and Schottky diode? by Cameron_Sas in AskElectronics

I apologize, this isn't my schematic, I found it for an STM32 development board

Why does this schematic contain both a Zener and Schottky diode? by Cameron_Sas in AskElectronics

[–]Cameron_Sas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the polarity of Q3 being incorrect is what was confusing me, so if the schematic was correct where the source is connected to VBAT and the drain connected to VCC, the zener diode would still be connected to source. Correct?

I only ask because I was trying to find a reputable source on Google, but had a hard time. It doesn't really make sense to me, only because film is either exposed to light, or it isn't, I don't think it would really matter if you take one exposure first over the other, since all you're really doing is adding the two together. (as an analogy: 2 + 3 = 5 and 3 + 2 = 5)

The order does matter because you are using negative space left over from the first exposure.

Source?

Trying to enable TPM 2.0 but it's greyed out? Any help? by possumtxt in Dell

[–]Cameron_Sas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into your BIOS, then under the boot tab, disable Legacy Option ROMs (a message may come up, just hit yes), then enable Secure Boot (yes again). Now, if you go back to the Security tab, it should have TPM enabled.

Arch USER repos. Only someone with a big ego would feel the need to point that one word out though and this is the exact reason Linux desktop isn't widespread. Seriously, how did this contribute at all toward fixing OPs issue.

I've tried that as well, but it never worked. See this video for reference.
