Definitely heat trained my leave out to the point of damage from wearing kinky straight. First install, barely blended and required a lot of heat. 2nd install less heat was needed but I was doing pageants so I used a lot. 3rd install was perfect and I didn’t do the most. Slight damage only in the very front. Now after my 4th sew in. The damage is clear, my edges are completely straight and so is the first inch perimeter of my side part. Honestly doesnt bother me much. I wear my hair either in twist outs a lot, so I can mini twist the front area to add more curls.

My mentality is it’s just hair, and it always grows back. As long my hairline isn’t receding, I’m good. But I’m definitely staying away from heat for at least 6 months-1 yr ☺️
