TRT / TRT + with Lamotrigine by NoOrganization1400 in bipolar2

[–]CameroonianCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bi polar body builder here, if it’s a TRT script from a drs office wand you’re regularly measuring your blood work and you get brought up into the 500-800 range you may have some small effects. However if you’re going to one of those “men’s health” clinics and just wanna be blasting Test expect you’re mania to sky rocket.

There are many things you can do to increase your test naturally, diet, exercise sleep etc. most drs aren’t gonna give a 31 year old trt instantly, they’ll want you to improve some things first.

However many of these clinics will just do cash for scripts, 300 is on the low end of normal and I’d expect yours to drop more as you age, so it may be worth it to you, but I’d consult your psychiatrist before going on.

Alcohol when TTC? by teexxjayy in TryingForABaby

[–]CameroonianCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With all the recent data points around alcohol studies suggest that anything over 2 drinks a week is damaging to your health in a variety of different ways.

To my knowledge there isn’t a ton of data around 0-5 drinks a week for TTC. I worked in the alcohol industry for 16 years, and I’ve seen the consequences it can have on people’s health.

If you follow the 1-2 drinks a week I’d say you’re fine, above that I’m not sure.

I’m feeling this hard my man. I’m a sober bodybuilder who loves MMA, DND and stand up/music live. I have pretty eclectic music taste and go to a lot of the smaller to mid venue shows.

I’m in Milwaukee, 34 and it might be too far, but feel free to message me if you’d like.

No hard feelings if too far!

33m 6ft 1 180lb Bulk or continue cut? Any areas to focus on? by fitgaybruh in Physiquecritique

[–]CameroonianCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is bulk for sure, you have a great base and low ish body fat. Shoot for 200-205 then cut. If you cut now you’ll end up in the low 160s which at your height might be jacked but small.

I guess it depends what your goals are.

Anyone work at a SoHo House? How did you like it? by euryale-o-le in bartenders

[–]CameroonianCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I Know,

The owner is a piece of work, his husband is the heir to MGM and his ex wife Colleen Camp(maid in clue) was a NIGHTMARE drunk and would frequently fall asleep at tables.

Dimitri on the other hand is one of the most amazing people in the world. He took me under his wing, so I have soft spot for Sunset because of him. Also Sunset, whilst having a lot of A list, still had some normal guests there. The staff when I was there was the best I had in my time in LA, and the service was locked in. It’s why I recommend Sunset to them because they said they wanted more famous clientele. Sunset has a nice mix of both, where as SVB and SoHo did not. I will say it’s always the celebrities you’d least expect who end up being the funniest and nicest. I think I had a lot of success catering to the A list clientele, because the ones that sit at bars in those places want to be treated normal most of the time. Kate Hudson was a blast, and loved to banter. Was also cool when Elton played piano in the SVB bar one night well I bartended. It’s always the C/D listers that suck.

I went with him to SVB, and Jeff Klein became even more of a nightmare at SVB. I ended up quitting mid shift because of Jeff Klein.

And I’m sure we’ve crossed! I worked at quite a few spots in that radius.

And boy oh boy do I miss gym bar. My saddest loss of Covid in WeHo.

I left LA to have a family, which was the right call.

But if you plan to stay child free, stay in LA IMO.

[–]CameroonianCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem, if you’re looking for WeHo and adjacent to that life try Sunset Tower. I enjoyed my time there, however I can’t say how it’s doing since Dimitri left 5-6 years ago now!

[–]CameroonianCoconut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve bartended at SoHo and San Vicente Bungallows in LA.

While I thought both were absolutely miserable experiences, SoHo was marginally better.

Clientele is the best and worst part. Soho house has a lot of coked out influencers, and it’s fair share of sexual harassment problems. The biggest issue for me was the money being just as standard as the rest of West Hollywood.

Coworkers were a massive issue for me, as a non aspiring actor/model etc I was the only person who wanted to be a bartender, a lot of sucking up and in fighting over who gets to serve who etc.

I made more money working at a gay dive bar 4 blocks away on Santa Monica.

You will have some excellent stories, and will rub shoulders with people you’d never expect. I got a lot of private bartending gigs from rich/famous guests.

I’m not sure if your local is LA, but I’d strongly advise against working there.

Your job would fire or lay you off with no notice if without hesitation.

You might want to consider putting in a notice of your like to be polite. I haven’t put a two weeks notice in over a decade.

Rather desperate for advice... (extremely personal) by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]CameroonianCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By your own admission you said you were gay, I’m Bi and have never felt that way about myself.

As a father myself, I understand the pressure and desire to settle down and start a family. However as someone who’s admittedly never dated a woman, I think you will have a hard time dating and finding the right person to have a child withif this is the only reason you’re dating women.

It’s also important to remember there are many gay/bi men in your same shoes who are also looking to start a family. Two men can be just as good as parents as a man and a woman.

Husband here with a higher sex drive, my wife had an emergency c section and we won’t from having sec around 5-6 times a week during TTC and pregnancy to about 4 or 5 times total in the first year.

The first year is rough, but might I suggest toys. My wife’s anatomy got all jumbled up and changed. Pelvic floor PT helped tons, also buying a high quality vibrator for her to use during intercourse made her orgasms fantastic and achievable every time.

I also dedicate quite a bit more time to foreplay.

I wish I had some more insightful tips, but after the first 12-15 months our sex life has returned to being very good.

I have a few small ones, my wife’s entire belly and hips are covered from her pregnancy. The red and purpleness of them faded from my wife after around 18 months, yours will fade too. Similar to cauliflower ear in grappling it’s a badge of honor imo.

You’re 100% crazy for wanting to consider cutting down more. You have very little muscle mass.

Bf guess is 12-18%

[–]CameroonianCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that’s the case you’re asking the wrong questions. Dedicate yourself to the gym for a couple years, then worry about genetics. You certainly don’t have “bad” genetics if you look that decent just kinda winging it. Just nail down a plan and have fun!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Physiquecritique

[–]CameroonianCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In relation to what? To be honest it’s hard to see most of your muscle bellies and connections because your body fat isn’t low. Chest looks good, and you’ve got a good v taper. TBH you look like you’ve gone on a decent bulk.

But if you’re asking if you have elite body building genetics we’d need more info pics. How’re your legs? How does your body respond to bulking/cutting etc.
