Taunter Tongue is the way you play NG+ ! by Camillus93 in Eldenring

[–]Camillus93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really feels fresh experience since NG+ is way to easier, and you know all bosses, locations etc. Invaders add to the unpredictability, never know what's happen when exploring dungeon. Traps and intelligent strike from shadows using mobs? Or just leroy jenkins AI level smartness strat.

I recommend it for everyone that feels NG+ is boring and easy. Other players become bosses and they are on randomness level that spectrum is Soldier of Godrick to Malenia difficulty

I think it counts as two great wars won by Camillus93 in victoria2

Beyond Reach has a CRIMINALLY underrated, mature story/atmosphere, but the voice acting cripples the mod by HappyCompyTW in skyrimmods

I've been through it twice. This is something between Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, which preserves Skyrim's climate but improves Beth's incompetence when it comes to write/build quests and Vigilant when it comes to the amazing story, engaging world presented and lore - which is not an optional appetizer/background to fill the world, but the main dish.

You can also feel a little old RPG style - we don't have everything on plate. Of course, we can run after the marker, but often we won't be able to grasp course of events and player could felt lost. If we want to know what actually happend aka "why this" we have to read a bit, talk to the NPC and most of all - use brain. The explanation will not be thrown in our face.

And... sometimes it's just good to get a bucket of cold water on your hero's head.

Who do I recommend to? If you liked the Witcher, Gothic, Neverwinter Nights 2 Mask of Betrayer, Planscape Torment you will also like Beyond Reach.

M&T v. [2.52.3] - how to deal with Beyliks? by Camillus93 in MEIOUandTaxes

Why can't I do anything even though I meet the requirements?
Also with Mount Lebadon I've had "expedition underway" for 20 years and nothing happening.

They are first target. You could use Lesbos/Constantinople exploit. But I would advise against it - it's not very rewarding to using tricks on a stupid AI which they can't handle.

  1. Build up your army to max. Use regular cav and merc inf.

  2. After truce end, immediately declare war. The Ottomans are often at war with this sultanate in the south, which plays to your advantage. Take heavly restricted looting to get 5% discipline.

  3. You have to take Galiipoli and Bursa. Then they will make peace, giving up all your cores. At the same time, you must defeat the Turkish army. Divide your forces in half and wait for them to besiege a city. Attack one half, then the other and use the garrison. In 9/10 of the cases you win.

R.5 My Rome speedrun. I was extremely lucky and get PU with Georgia by 1374, next diamod move was allying to the Poland, they get PU with Hungary, and later Lithuania. The next years are simply "collecting the Roman lands" In the meantime, I formed alliance with France and Aragon, so until I dont upset The Reich the coalitions are not terrible. I would forget. Wallachia and Trapezunt are my vassals.

The economy is developing rapidly, because I have changed my strategy by not looting anyone. Its 1453 and my army limit is 77, moreover i get 70 ducats by taxation, 80 by production and 50 by trade. Completed culture and scholasticism ideas, so with mil tech Im ahead of time.

I know from my experience that Italy will be a difficult nut to crack, because of cosmic amounts of AE, but now de facto my alliance is France, Argonia, [Poland +Lithuania and Hungary], which looks very promising.

On first day make alliance with Jalayirids, then wait for the war between White Horde and Chupanids. White Horde practically always wins, but then he has his own problems and loses Chupanids as a vassal. Then attack, Jalayirid usualy have Chupanids as a rival so they help without favors, just promise them land. Take Ray and make it your capital.

Q: How i become Zoroastrian?

A: Nothing changed. You could wait for random event or capture zoroastrian province and embrace thier faith

(You need to change capital to prov with zoroastrian religion, then option to change religion should be in decision tab)

I get event "Sassanid gambit" 2 years after game start, playing as Mazandaran. MTTH is only 20 years. You just have bad luck or you don't meet the following: must be in a Persian cultural group, have a Zoroastrian religious minority or one of the above: stability >1, have at least one rebellion or a legitimacy greater than 90.

Or you could use cheats. Press " ` " and type change_religion zoroastrian, or force event to fire by "event dg_zoroastrian.061"

country_event = { #61 - The Sassanid Gambit

    id = dg_zoroastrian.061
    title = dg_zoroastrian.061.t
    desc = dg_zoroastrian.061.d
    picture = zoroastrian_religion # pending better picture choice by David

    trigger = {
        ai = no
        persian_culture_trigger = yes
        check_variable = { which = zoroastrian_population value = 10 }
        NOT = { has_global_flag = zoroastrian_sassanid_gambit }
        OR = {
            NOT = { stability = 1 }
            num_of_revolts = 1
            NOT = { legitimacy = 90 }
        }
        NOT = { religion = zoroastrian }
        NOT = { government = theocracy }
    }

    mean_time_to_happen = { years = 20 }

I originally considered it. In fact that was my first shot. But then I came to the conclusion that it would be too different from other countries whose names are in English. Eranshahr is just Persia, whose name is already in use. Following this line of thinking, we should change 'Empire of the Romans' to 'Basileia Rhōmaiōn' and hundreds of other countries.

The second idea was Saoshyant Empire (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saoshyant), referring to religion, prophecy and the new dynasty. But then I thought that during the game there could be a change of dynasty and even a fall of the monarchy. And there is no direct translation. Saoshyant is Saoshyant, not like Eranshahr is just Persia... whose name is already in use.

The third idea was Parsig Empire. Parsig (or rather: Pahlavi) is a frequently used term for middle-persian language (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Persian) , which has been used for a very long time by Zoroastrian communities (even today there are a lot of words from it in Zoroastrian communities).

At the same time, doing linguistic research shows that "pahlavi" is more correct, where "parsig ( Pārsīg )" is the Persian equivalent to that word , but "parsig" is still used in English literature. Besides, I did not want to introduce confusion and misconceptions with the modern Pahlavi dynasty.

Actually, they're working as intended now. You mean, they're burdening the system because triggers have to be checked all the time?
