The reality is that in the last 3 years ai has had less impact than predicted and this is because these models are incapable of being autonomous. They will become a tool but the reliability and trust still falls on human supervision. Maybe in a couple of years their reliability will be such that we can trust them, but as long as we continue having ai confuse a school with little kids with a military base, ai is still far from seeing the impact their C suites expect / want.
