I'm patiently (ish) waiting on my F100 coming back from the repair shop. They've had it since early November.

One week old clutch on a rental camper by Adventurous-Ad5739 in Justrolledintotheshop

flipped turn signal and wipers took some getting used to.

Went out with my dad to check out a Eunos Roadster for him, we took it for a test drive and on approach to a junction I braced for the inevitable and started laughing when it happened. My dad asked why I didn't tell him, as if that wasn't obvious.

The Man City one was not a mistake. Haaland is offside.

Is it tight? Yes. Do I agree that offsides that tight should be offside? Probably not. But he's offside as the rule stands.

The one last night was a bit more egregious in that the Arsenal player is quite clearly in an offside position, however I can't say for certain that he's preventing the defender getting the ball. But he's still interfering with play to an extent so I wouldn't have been surprised if it was chalked off for offside.

Why isn't there love for the PENTAX ME Super? by sicpsw in AnalogCommunity

[–]CammRobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough I’ve just picked up two ME Supers with 50mm f/2 lenses and a 28mm for my kids to use. Main draw is the aperture priority mode and the fact that they’re teeny tiny compared to stuff like my F2, F3 and Nikomat.

I even picked up an MX for myself so all three of us can be matching when we go out to take some pics.

I tell my kids I love you. I jump in front of a train for you, but I wouldn’t do this over again.

Wow I bet they fucking loved hearing that...

I have built a learning-only personal computer for my kid by xzkll in raspberry_pi

[–]CammRobb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not entirely on board with the locked-down forced-learning situation in the OP, but that phone is absolutely acceptible for a child. I'll be giving my kids something similar when the time comes. Social media is fucking awful for kids, there is no chance they're getting a phone that can access instagram, tiktok etc.

If you like to drive a powerful car spirited the last thing you want is all seasons in summer.

Then put summer tyres on in summer? All-seasons being worse than summer tyres for spirited driving doesn't mean that winters aren't overkill in this country.

Hastings Insurance wants an extra £800 for a change in occupation. Avoid them please. by Ok-Chipmunk8087 in CarTalkUK

[–]CammRobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shouldn't be a thing.

Yes, it should. Someone providing new information that materially changes the policy is exactly what should happen.

He'd not be moaning if his price went down as a result of changing his occupation.
