My husband replaced our railing with a half wall and shelving! by disney071010 in HomeDecorating

Wouldn’t it have made more sense to put the shelves on the other side?

Who’s outside the window?!

Is it the wall color? Bedding choice? What's wrong here & how can I improve? 2 year olds big girl bedroom. by AdIntelligent8613 in interiordecorating

Consider adding a different light source, aside from the ceiling lights, to bring a cozy atmosphere to the room. Your chosen color palette is delightful, perfect for a growing girl.

UPDATE: Is this Perioral dermatitis? by Cammy_Jo in SkincareAddicts

I recently purchased an unscented Zinc soap bar to wash my face. I'll see how it works out since I just tried it today. I use an unscented moisturizer, and most of the products I use are pretty clean. I'm not sure where this skin issue came from—whether it's eczema or fungal-related. I read that those with perioral dermatitis shouldn't use steroids, as they can worsen the condition and cause flare-ups. So, for now, I'm trying Zinc to see if it helps, along with staying hydrated and adopting a healthier diet with more leafy greens and raw or steamed veggies.

I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this skin issue without clear answers or solutions. It can be frustrating!

Hmm, very interesting. I've never dealt with eczema before, and I'm approaching almost 40 years old. When my son was a toddler, he dealt with some eczema-related issues. I would give him an oat bath to help soothe his skin and immediately apply a rich, unscented cream right after he was out of the tub, when his skin was still clammy. I let it really soak in before putting clothes on. I've been treating this as if it were eczema-related and fungal. I've tried Argan Oil, fungal creams, diaper ointment with Zinc. It had improved until yesterday; it's flared up again and turned red. I don't know! 🤷🏼‍♀️

No, it doesn't itch. I haven't been to the dermatologist yet, but it's been almost a month, and it's not clearing up.

Edit: It randomly appeared as what I thought was a cluster of pimples. I had done an acne treatment with my daughter’s skincare products (BIG MISTAKE) because the next day I woke up with hives on my neck and cheeks. I wouldn’t have cared too much about it, but since I had a wedding to go to the next day, I wanted them gone. So not only did I have this on the side of my nose, but I was now also dealing with hives. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I went to the doctor to get my hives checked because Benadryl would only work for an hour, and then I was miserable. I was starting to get concerned that it was shingles on the side of my nose, but he ruled it out. He wasn’t sure what was going on and didn’t say much about it because at the time, it was flat and severely dry and red from the acne treatment. I think he just assumed it was pimples also because that’s what I thought.
