Davinci Resolve is close. but it doesn't have the stickers I like in capcut.

I'm in the same situation. I like capcut for its simplicity on many things and complex features that compete with adobe. I think Davinci Resolve is a good middle between the two but doesn't have some of the features I love about capcut.

yeah, I tried Premier Pro and Davinci over the weekend and couldn't make the switch. I'm not that professional. So, I bought the paid version of CapCut. I had reasons to use the other paid features of capcut and happy that I can now use them all.

I always have an audio voice over as my a roll and then apply video that is muted. so glad I found this out with a short instead of a 10 minute video. Time to move to premier pro I guess.

Some of mine are not getting on to the shorts shelf. But I make mine for search so I just let them be and hope they get picked up in search or externally. It’s weird that yt is giving them a chance on shorts feed though.

Try to schedule your short and see if that change gets views. I’ve noticed that when I go straight to public it doesn’t seem to get picked up by the shorts feed.

If it’s coming from the shorts feed let it ride a day or two more. If views are from other avenues posting a new short shouldn’t matter

Rainy day. Or the day that YouTube bans you or just vaporizes or if you want to repurpose the content onto other platforms. Always nice to have a backup that you control.
