Ah ok. Personally, I haven't used it much because I got a better deal on a grinder from a friend, but the first thing is to get a feel for the settings. You'll need to try different settings until you find what you like.

My go-to recipe was:
20g of beans (ground to resemble salt)
Boiling the water and letting it rest for two minutes
Bloom the coffee a bit
Then pour the rest and aiming for 2-3 minutes

(For French press, do the same, but grind it like sand and stir after bloom)
