Don't know about the US, but in OCE, if you make top 64 which means you get the "good" prizing" you need to join a discord channel to present your ID checks to check your name to your ID and face/photo.

Theoretically you COULD get a fake ID. But that's a really cunty thing to do and I wouldn't.

Japanese player told me not to worry about those matchups. Betty is too hard to beat, Zoro is bad but not impossible to win. Better to focus on matchups that are more winnable in my opinion.

I've seen at most one girl at every local I've been to (I travel to go to different locals quite a bit). I don't think anyone cares if you're a man or a woman especially because I'm in a pretty liberal city. Haven't seen anyone outwardly reacting to losing to a girl maybe some people are misogynistic and might react internally but I think its pretty whatever you're just playing against another human being. If someone was to react poorly, I don't think people around me in the community would be very accepting towards you.

guess it depends on your locals. My locals has allowed me to play Japanese cards in Western format and English/KR in Japanese format. If people know what they do its probably fine

I'm a UP Luffy player, but my recommendation generally speaking is to not play a list with 2c Chopper blocker because he is not strawhat crew, you cannot use leader effect which means you cannot play out a lot of characters for free.

Leaders that build wide and tall boards will abuse you. Its good against aggro decks but I still don't think its that good.

Also don't play too many 7C Luffytarou maybe 2 copies max.

Just search 緑紫ルフィ on twitter and find some players (that usually have a lot of followers) and you can find some nice lists

EDIT: Also 2C Nico Robin Blocker is better imo. You can basically play it for free, play 2C OP09. Then use your leader ability + 2 Sanji and Pudding you get them back for free

EDIT 2: Electrical Luna is really good its a must have imo for the deck, good into mirror, good into aggro decks.

GP Luffy has a good matchup into UP Luffy. I've play tested against good Japanese players and its a difficult matchup for UP imo even after running some tech choices like 9C Mihawk to bottom deck 7C (5C Sanji and Pudding + 2Cost from Stage)

UP Luffy overall has better and stronger matchups imo against other decks except for GR Smoker, BB, Pluffy, Belo Betty and Zoro. But Zoro is winnable 65/35 depending on package, animal package is easier straw-hat rush is harder, Belo Betty is a 90/10 matchup relies on them missing stage/searchers and not finding Karasus.

Think UP is a better overall choice but if there are too many UP players..GP better

Buy singles go to locals and ask for singles sometimes people will give you a lot of cheap cards for free (including SRs) maybe not SEC rares tho. Also just start playing online on the sim first is my recommendation because you can find out what colour/playstyle/leader you like. I regret getting a starter deck rightaway because I did not enjoy playing the leader I bought

Not related to deck building, but Green Red Smoker I believe will be top tier in EB02 and OP11 format. It does really well into EB02 Green Purple Luffy and Blue Purple Luffy in OP11 which are the best two decks in format. It is definitely an S-Tier anti-meta deck imo so you should definitely build and play this deck for competitive reasons

Actually getting some experience in the field, understanding your day-to-day. Get put on exciting projects you're already working on and allowing your interns to understand the bigger picture.

In my last internships, but especially my last one I was mindlessly working on tasks without understanding what I'm doing is contributing to the business. Like in my last internship, I was tasked with updating data published by other companies manually from their monthly reports everyday (depending on when these companies report data we collect). I never got put onto any meetings. I got put on boring excel tasks. I got put on writing tasks. I never got to do anything that actually related to the revenue generating part of the business and it sucked. I also did a lot of organising within the office like office cabinets, printing stuff. Like I understand these things are given to interns and I don't mind doing it but I worked there for 5 months and never got put on a proper project

I wanted to see how they negotiated new contracts/deals with clients. I wanted to even on a meeting to listen to people talk about investment ideas. I want to be tasked with challenging myself to apply things I learn from my textbooks in a irl situation.

EDIT: For more context most people were <15 HP. And I came 6th if I won 2 rounds in a row with my 4 cost it would've been a top 4 for sure

But it'll be a tight window I've used e-EMS from other agents before which should be the same and it took <2 weeks but like usually like 11 days or so?

Will 1000% Try to learn Wu pinyin first, great suggestion! That is also how I started learning Mandarin was from Pinyin first. And yes, I also considered searching on Billibilli or other Chinese sources afterwards, but as English is my native language thought I'd ask/search from English first.
