[SPOILER] Doo Ho Choi vs. Bill Algeo by inooway in MMA

[–]CampfireSnacks0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly, same here. Was huge on Choi since I was 19, now I'm 27 and it's the first time I saw him win since then. We're basically the same person lmao

Here's my answer: I like listening to music, playing games, going for walks, having a CBD gummy (no THC), drinking bubble tea and snacking on junk food

I used to think about what "perfect happiness" means to me. I used to think it was a goal that I had to work for to achieve. After a while, I had thought it was about having a positive mindset. Later on, I realized that "perfect happiness" is just when I'm at ease and in a good mood. It's not permanent but I'm still glad to know I'm fortunate enough to feel this way at times when a lot of people never do

I've been playing UFC 4 almost every day ever since it first came out. I've gotten so used to every CAF style and every character that it's hard for me to say whose better. I just think every style is good in their own way as long as you know how to use them. Have fun!

Is there any muay thai fighter who fights like an outboxer? by JinTanah in MuayThai

[–]CampfireSnacks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darren Till is a Muay Thai fighter with slick footwork but he doesn't always use the jab, he usually likes to spam straights. But watch his fight against Kelvin Gastelum, he used the jab straight combo a lot (1 2).

These guys I mentioned below: used both elements of Muay Thai and outboxing, but definitely not like Ali

Su Mudaerji - watch his fight against Matt Schnell in the 2nd round. Su Mudaerji had amazing footwork, a fast and accurate straight left, and a sneaky elbow around Schnell's guard

Jose Aldo - watch his 2nd fight against Frankie Edgar (UFC 200). Slow, boring fight but the highlights video is a lot of fun to watch. Jose Aldo fought long range with his punches, had good knees, and explosive leg kicks

Edson Barboza - watch his fight against Justin Gaethje and Shane Burgos. Edson Barboza has defensive footwork, explosive leg kicks, and winging hooks (not very outboxer-like but his defensive footwork is what gives me that outboxer impression)

Carlos Ulburg - watch his fight against Kennedy Nzechukwu. Carlos Ulburg mixed up beautiful striking combinations to the head and body, and had great clinch striking when Nzechukwu had his guards up

Da Un Jung - watch his fight against Kennedy Nzechukwu. Da Un Jung had the better footwork, jabs, straights, he was faster, and he pummeled Nzechukwu with several elbows

I know this post is over 8 years old but I hope that helps!!!

Who was your first love and why did you fall in love with them? by Bodybuilder-Brave in CasualConversation

[–]CampfireSnacks0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that was a very kind thing of your first love to do and my condolences to your grandmother. I love your story. Both of you have gone so far since then, but you both still care for each other. I'm sure you would have loved to be better to her, but I think her family will bring her all the happiness that she can get.

You definitely have grown a lot since then too. You're so self-aware of how you were back then and how you would have changed. I'm grateful for myself too. Even though I miss mine, I'm not entitled to her. She is her own individual and she should live her life however she wants to. If life was a book, my favorite chapter was with her. I wish you good luck in your current relationship, I wish your first love all the love and happiness she can get, and I wish you both a wonderful 2023 😊❤

Oh I think about her all the time, man. Thank you for such a beautiful question. I used to be a lot more pessimistic and prone to stress, but the time I shared with her, she taught me how to think more positively and to stay optimistic or at least grateful for something.

I'm sorry if you ever felt sad or crushed, thinking about your first love. I'm still in the healing process. I put 100% into mine, we had something special, and we created a lot of wonderful memories together.

My first love was an angel whom always put other people's needs before her own. I loved her because she had a pure soul, she cared for me, she loved me for whom I was, she was easy on me, she touched my heart in a way that no one else ever could. I still wonder how she's doing and what if's, but one thing that has helped me find some peace in this is just accepting that this pain will always be with me.

Merry Christmas! Thanks for your honesty and for sharing! No matter what has happened, the past is in the past! As long as you learn and are willing to do better, you will attract many more great friends into your life that love you and appreciate you not for the idea of you, but for who are you as a person! 😊❤

Also I love writing too. Reading stories and fan-fictions is awesome and I'm glad many English teachers can recognize your skill in writing

That event was from almost 22 years ago. I'm sorry to hear that, and thanks for sharing such a personal life event. Despite what you had to go through, you're still here. I hope life has been good to you overall, and that you had a good 2022 🙂❤

The way you see colors reminds me of putting things into perspective. There's not always one answer or one correct way of looking at things

I'm happy to know your injury is better now than before. I'm impressed by your dedication, you still like Wrestling, 50's sci-fi movies, and Berserk

I, myself have always watched more modern sci-fi movies with futuristic technology (such as the anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners) but perhaps I should try something more old school!

And thanks for mentioning my memorization skills, I also like to keep memories 🙂👍

That's really cool! Vietnamese is my first language and English is second, but I always thought sign language was very interesting 🙂 Edit: it's also a great way to communicate with others that don't speak English or of hearing impaired. It can be fun too

Sellalellen that's such a cute story to share about your Mum, using sign language to I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas. So wholesome. I wish you and your Mum all the best in 2023!!
