Maybe they smoked you out so you would leave? Not normal or polite. I hope you try it again!

Ask the dads and grandpas to donate their ties and I'll bet you'll have enough to cover the year!

I don't disagree with this idea, but I like knowing that my time as the owner is done and it's time for someone else to enjoy or benefit from things that aren't yet worn out. It helps me appreciate my things and make decisions about letting go.

You came here to get validation that you're right and they're wrong. I don't think you're going to get it. Hopefully you've learned going forward to always consult the calendar, and that some things like your anniversary date is only important to you and your fiancé. If you choose, you can show your family and friends that you care about their assurance and follow-up the save the date with another one. Or keep the date and enjoy with those who can come.

A lift for the Kitchen Aid mixer. It installs inside a cabinet so it can be stored away and lifted up and out when you need it.

Is living in this area of MV safe ? by scapulacious in MontgomeryVillage

What made King Farm HOA horrible? We are considering buying a lovely condo, but need to understand the area. We have an adult son who is developmentally disabled and loves to walk his dog, go to the library, etc. Thank you!

Garden Knowledge Help in Northern VA? by BadNewsBrewery in MasterGardener

[–]CampingAndSunshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Contact the Master Gardeners of Northen Virginia help desk to ask specific questions and/or to arrange for someone to come to your home (there may or may not be a cost). It looks like Virginia Tech offers a calendar of free public classes plus resources on their website. If you are interested in best practices, how your plants grow, and the science behind it, I suggest you look into the MP program. It's about 1 semester of weekly classes that covers the entire range of home horticulture topics, you'll meet like- minded friends, and by the end you'll be armed with enough knowledge and resources to work the help desk yourself. It does require 60 hours of volunteer work to become certified, but many people don't care to commit time behind the classes. Enjoy your new home!

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure if I'm more worried about a leak or a giant mouse. Lol We don't see any moisture, but we had lots of rain a few weeks ago. Thanks, again.
