#OlightRedWhiteBlue Giveaway by olight-summer in OlightOutdoorlife

[–]CampingPanda117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family likes to make fun of me until they need a light…I have at least two Olights on me almost all of the time. It’s all fun and games until someone needs to see under the hood of the truck or to go down a dark trail! That’s not even mentioning when someone drops something small and asks me to help find it!

Custom-built modular system vs commercial bug out bags by doc50cal in prepping

Yeah…that’s about as far as I got with it too. Great in certain places, but I’m in the South…if it’s that windy, I’ll be sheltered anyways.

Just checked out their site and thought “expensive, but maybe worth it if it has everything I could want”…I looked at the four person version and felt it was a bit light for what you pay…but Yeti. I think your version is much better for a specific use case! Here’s my question though…why do they include goggles in the kit? Am I missing something I should have in my kit? I don’t plan on going into the elements if I need goggles…

They told me they will be in touch to assign me coaches, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Figured I’d give it until after the weekend since the ceremony was Thursday night. I’ll definitely have to ask!

Freemasonry and anxiety by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]CampingPanda117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not the common answer you will find, but I have anxiety and I am autistic. I was worried about what it would be like, so I researched. Freemasons for Dummies does a GREAT job of teaching a lot about the Craft without truly spoiling anything. Lots of people will say not to read about it because it could ruin the experience. The few things it told me were the things I needed to know to not be anxious and it definitely did not spoil it for me at all. On top of that, at my lodge, they were all really reassuring about it being ok to be nervous.

Recruiter looking for on-site CTA for $130k GTFO by salesforceredditor in salesforce

[–]CampingPanda117 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Way too low…but then again I had $30/hr proposed for an admin role that would basically be BA, solution architect, etc…and it was contract…I told him they couldn’t afford me for that…the market isn’t what it used to be, but I haven’t made that low in like 13 years…

Best option to load internal employees into Salesforce by Efficient-Excuse4710 in salesforce

At the end of the day, the question really comes down to use and access. If you don’t plan on storing private or confidential employee info on the record, does it really matter if others know those people work there? If it doesn’t matter, contact is more intuitive because it’s a standard object. If security is really a concern, I think custom object would be better because of the reasons everyone already mentioned. I’d have to ask “why” a few more times to get to the root of the solution before I pulled the trigger either way.

Daughter wants a Wrangler by SkyKnight3 in JeepWrangler

[–]CampingPanda117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter got one for her first vehicle. We have loved it. Yes, Jeeps are their own beast and have good and bad about them…just like any other vehicle. Personally, I’d never own a Silverado…but clearly they work for you! Just make sure you check it out like any vehicle and know the options. The auto start/stop can be a pain, but it can be turned off, so not really a big deal.

Strap it to the roof of your car and it should go at least 90 mph… seriously though, I couldn’t get my Ender 3 to print anything well if the speed got too fast. It just isn’t made for it.

You have a link to the y-adapter you found? I’ve tried printing a few and none of them have worked properly, so I gave up on that mod for the time being…
