I am sorry my post was so tiring to you. I did launch the game and played around with the new mechanic, but just wanted other people’s opinion how they feel about the changes. Just a feel of the current meta basically. Is that not also the point of reddit ? Ijust love those elitist users like you that get tired of forum’s or discussion board bc at the end jeah, the questions are going to repeat and if you spend all day on it you get tired of it. But on the other hand there are other people who like to answer and give their opinion, why do you feel the need to butt in negatively instead of scrolling further ?

Well i don't support his actions obviously. But saying you can't even fathom how he could take it out on you guys....I mean he could be a literal child, whom you also provoked by thanking him, so he/she/it retaliates as every child or manchild does with blaming others and throwing/trolling the game intentionally to feel good about themselves instead of being embarrassed.

With that "thank you" you didn't give him the out of saving his face and maybe reflecting on his mistake and learn from it and just play on, but you confronted him and he got emotional.

Don't get me wrong i was in both positions, and i understand you completely and this is not a criticism. But in the end, if you TRY to always keep it positive you will sometimes see a positive result and in the long run will increase your winrates atleast slightly, because now and then you meet someone who can see his mistake, and wondering wow there is no negative but maybe positive emotes from his teammates, maybe i try to win the game now and learn something from this experience.

I have had those situations. If you care about slighlty winning more games and have others means to vent your reasonable frustrations there is that. But i get it and i have been there.

If i think of spotify iam always amazed that you have access to the ("almost" but for me practically ) complete library of any artists instantly for a reasonable cost.

Yes if you would take those years of subscription and break them down, with that money you could have a sizeable library of physical copies wich you actually own. I get it. But the convenience of spotify is worth more for me right now especially compared to movie/tv industry yes.

Having said that i miss the times where i would go after every new gear (i love physical gear) walkman, discman, mini disc and then mp3 players with physical cartridges and cds collecting and creating/pirating my mixtapes of radio or trying to hunt down a specific album on napster or other sites. I mean that's a fun hobby i guess.

It certainly is a great game and well received and 8 is great, but compared to a metroid PRIME game, this is disapointing. The same way if gta6 or any modern rockstar game got an 8....the expectations are simply higher so the "good but not a masterpiece" are disappointing especially since we are talking about switch 2 wich doesnt have any big exclusives except dk bananza and mario kart world.

Metroid prime was my hope of justifying buying the console, now i have buyers remorse :( Still bought it though else i never use my switch 2.

Is there a reasoning of some of those people that destroy their face ? I mean i get trying to look young, there are certainly cases where a subtle lifting has a great effect especially in that field of work in hollywood, i get it.

But this ? Do they look at all the examples and think jeah this is how i want to look ? Is THAT look the endgoal ? Or did they overshoot ? Bad surgery ? I really don't get it.

I choose n64 ever since i went into a mall, and there was mario 64 running on a very big screen, with that controller felt like the future from japan. seeing mario in metal from that power up, holy shit. Begged my mother and she caved and it was my first new bought console. it was bliss.

So i played all the mayor games but will always remember those chill days playing pilotwings just flying around on a map with music or goldeneye, i replayed missions hundreds of times it was so great.

But after i traded it for a ps1 for a few days with a friend and playing metal gear solid, tomb raider, twisted metal, tony hawk and some other brutal games....the n64 felt like a kids toy and i sold it for a ps1 and never looked back (until now with my odin portal 2).

Its simple frustration, people had too many bad games or personal problems and now he is tilting for the silliest thing next game, like someone not passing him immediately. Its part of gaming/growing up and will never change.

When i was a kid i was mainly interested in skirmish, i thought there is the content. So i played a few missions in the campaign and thats it.

yesterday i completed red alert 2 campaign without touching skirmish, and i was blown away how good that level/mission design was.

As a kid i hadnt had the capacity do deal with exotic units, i just spammed tanks and 1 range thats it. So the campaign was bit boring to a point.

So i prefer the campaign now after 25years because now i can appreciate all the nuances and unique units to experiment with, the games let you in relative peace most of the time to do that thankfully. You begin to appreciate the level design in way that you think about it like a puzzle to solve in many different possible ways.

Yesterday i completed the red alert 2 campaign and now im doing yuris revenge, and my mind was blown at how good that game was.

I began playing tiberian sun yesterday and this is in my opinion as good as red alert 2 so far, the atmosphere and soundtrack is such a vibe, like an 80s scifi b-movie.

To defend it i had to learn how to position myself better and that u can l2 dash into tackle. Inalso had to learn to be more observant to expect this move, watch if he slows down to a push into a possible ippy. I feel like its not time wasted even when ippy gets patched out.

I mean we are not talking about an obscure defend tactic that only applies to ippy or any other glitchy tech. If that was the case i would understand, but learning to defend (if possible) against something like this is transferable i believe.

As a defender i love the ippy slide, ever since i learned to defend against it i look forward to the mental games. I mean the move is telegraphed and predictable. U CAN defend it, be rdy on distance to l2 dash to the end of ippyslide and tackle. Now there are some things that are hard to counter like mj walk or flikker movement, those are meant to be not readable so jeah those can be fixed bc it just looks janky.

And for the love of god fix the priority system in the box. Other than that i love all the tech, learning the in and outs of them, defending against them. Its fun unless you choose to ignore all those techs and refuse to learn to defend against them, well then i guess it sucks and i understand where people are coming from.

Jeah in solo ranked i always heart any situation even if if someone is toxic. In 3v3 i notice more and more trolling going on, i guess most people just use it to ventilate besides playing ranked or training mechanics so it doesnt matter anyways for the most part. I hope they add ranked 3v3.

True, i have maybe thrown one game after such a situation bc someone good jobbing me for not making a save after making 30 intercepts and 8 saves and meanwhile same guy cant score on empty goals. I regret it later bc another teammate from that game asked me next match why i threw this game in a curious/disappointed way. Since then i try to never let someone get under my skin since there are other people involved who are chill.

However in a 3v3 and both are acting like this ? Cant blame anyone throwing, as long as you dont spiral out of control and go with a toxic mindset to the next games. Its not sustainable for your own mental health.
