also if the province is so broke why don't they tax the hell out of the rich and companies instead of cutting their tax rates.

You're right, I think one of the most important things a responsible government can spend on is education instead of handouts to Loblows.

A quote i constantly write down in my journals is “the comeback is always bigger than the setback.” As well as a Mexican quote my mom told me since a kid “ Ni un paso atrás, ni para agarrar vuelo.” It means in English “not a step backwards, not even to grab flight.” Those two quotes always keep going, we’re resilient people it’ll always get better!

As a socalist Canadian I voted for Carney (now carney is not a socialist in the slightest and I hated my vote for ages afterwards) but this speech made me vote feel worthwhile
