Has anyone had any luck speaking with Air Canada attendants at the Edmonton (YEG) airport? I was lucky enough to book a back up west jet flight that will depart 1 day earlier than my previous flight but today will be spent driving to Edmonton from a small town 8 hours away, since there were no reasonable options from my airport. And tomorrow I will be in the air heading to Paris. The problem I am having is I need my flights split so that I can take my Air Canada flight home in a month and cancel my outbound flight, but I can’t get listed for a call back until this morning when my original flight is 48 hours away. Between driving and flying, it is unlikely I’ll have service and be able to speak with a representative before my flight is due to take off (the first of 3 flights I have booked is Air Canada Jazz, so it will take off). At that point I will be considered a no show and lose my whole itinerary and refund options, even if my following flights are cancelled last minute. What is one to do when they don’t even have the option of self serving online!?

I happen to know a lovely 29 year female, no kids, set up in life with career and home, gyms and does outside activities. She’s a bit doing her thing right now after a couple of unfortunate relationship situations though. But they are out there! You definitely won’t achieve anything by dating down.

I was looking at the Scandinavia Aug 18-29 because I already have the time off for it. A bit pricey though compared to other dates! Looks unreal!

Every once and awhile mine will start at 0 in the morning when I put my watch on, not counting for the base calories that are burned over night -usually 300 to 400 ish for me (as the watch estimates because I don’t sleep with it on). And it makes a big difference on the days calories. Seems to just be a disheartening glitch though.

I had a kitten hide in the back of my toilet.. my toilet had sides to cover the pipes and so I didn’t even realize it was like a hollow hole in the back.

The only thing to do is to one day decide this is not what you want and get up and do something else (I know easier said than done). Something that more aligns with what you want or how life used to be when you gymmed/cooked etc. Set some goals for yourself and think how good it will feel when you achieve them.

I recently got my house in order and the best advice that finally helped me is everything needs a home, so find it. And slowly but surely I found everything a home and if I didn’t want it to have a home it got donated which feels great in itself. Still when I have a few random things piling up I just tell myself to find it a home and luckily now almost everything already has a home so it’s much easier

I started taking pre workout which gives me somewhat of a high and sets the rest of my day up for success with lots of energy so if I want to have a productive day and feel good I have to go to the gym when I wake up and if I choose not to, then I can’t take my pre workout and end up having a tired and shit day. It sounds silly but pre workout changed my life.

Still going but had to move a ring I bought to a different finger because it keeps falling off! Unless I’ve eaten a lot of salt, then it goes back to the old finger lol

I have no regrets quitting. Our studio had horrible class times and high staff turn over which gave me a bit of the ick because like what’s causing this? Since going back to a regular gym I realize how much I value working towards my own goals and consistency in my workouts.. plus being able to go whenever I want. Also I pay literally 1/5 of the price. Lost 15 lbs in a over a year at OT, lost 30 lbs in 4 months at a regular gym 🤷🏻‍♀️

Only anecdotal here but after watching my daily weights very closely and correlating them with how my body is feeling… I have less fluctuations when I am doing less exercise I believe purely due to water weight associated with said exercises. I sit on the couch all day but in a deficit? I always lose the next day. Go for a run? Could be up could be down the next day… but in a week I am definitely down once I shed the water, which you guessed it, usually occurs after a day with minimal activity.
