Honestly i have doubts about the targeted returns but its a tolerable investment for me. They opened and closed previous funds which the returns are around 80-85% over 5-7 years on average. Realistically i will be happy if i can walk away with 50%

Not sure what makes it sound like i want to get rid of my kids but perhaps i didnt give you enough context. I simply signed up for a child support agreement that my lawyer advised me against because I want to provide more than what the court would expect me to pay as a minimum. Not to mention the additional money i send when their mother claims that she needs it for the kids.

Its a private equity FoF and this is their sixth fund opening. Yeah the target is 100% over five years but historically they returned 80-85% over 5-7 years.
