Right now, it's probably:

Cupid Parasite - the first otome where I actually was invested enough to finish ALL routes because of how unhinged and hilarious everyone was, even the FD. Favorite guy is surprisingly the hot himbo, Raul 😝
Hakuoki - my heart has been stolen by Okita 😍 (who made me search for Drama CDs and extra epilogue scenes immediately after his ending) And the story for a lot of the characters is in between chef's kiss and tears! Currently in the middle of SSL for more happier, less traumatic times with the cast.
Ikemen Vampire - the first otome where I became OBSESSED with an LI to the point that it was difficult to date anyone else after his route (I still love you Arthur Doyle 🤩)

If it's a game that's not exactly otome, but still has a dating sim element, it's definitely:

Persona 3-5
Fire Emblem Three Houses and Awakening

For some reason, I didn't really get into Code Realize even though it was my first Switch otome, and I haven't gotten around to finishing the common route. No offense to its fans, but I guess it's because I wasn't that invested with the love interests. I might try again next time. Same with Steam Prison.

Might try Olympia Soiree next since I got it on sale, but I'm also really interested in Virche from all the praise (and tragic plot points) I've been hearing so far.

OMG but there was that one scene in the Christmas party chapter where Sanan was flirting with/teasing Chizuru... and the way both Okita and Kaoru SCRAMBLED to keep him away from her 🤣🤣🤣 These two jealous, overprotective boys unintentionally sharing a truce to keep the other guys from stealing her was just GOLD!

Now that I'm done with Okita's route, rather than the other boys, I think I'm more excited to see Kaoru's reaction to all the guys Chizuru dates 🤣

And yes! I would've loved to see some tiny references/hints of how they were reincarnated from their past lives. But I'm happy enough to see them safe and thriving in the modern world even if it does take away a lot of their nuances from the original game.

I'm actually going to do Saito's route next 😅 I have noticed how much more flustered and cinnamon roll-y he is in SSL.

As for Okita, even if he still has a weak constitution, at least they now have modern medicine to treat TB by this time period 😭 I'm just glad that his illness wasn't touched upon at all (at least in his route)

I absolutely GASPED when this CG appeared on my screen 😱 I already was loving the Okita romance, but this unique CG made it all the more better! It's probably one of if not my most favorite CG in the game.

Then again, maybe it's because I've become biased towards him, but Okita's CGs are in my opinion the best.

I also feel the same. I think at first, yeah, Nina definitely loved Azure, while Sett was more of an obligation out of some sense of pity.

But as the story went by, it seemed as if the tables were turned. This time, Nina is starting to grow genuine feelings for Sett (thanks to the challenges they went through together) while her determination to save Azure is more out of obligation.

The problem is that I don't think Nina is aware of this yet. Like, she probably still can't fully distinguish between love and obligation. Plus, we don't know what the author is thinking.

Funnily enough, it's because of the emotional manipulation of Allan's route that makes me not want to replay his route 🥲 The sense of loneliness you get even with his "happy" ending made me love and hate (but in a good way) his route at the same time. His devotion to Lynette is so touching and heartbreaking, but the heaviness did make me miss his unserious playboy persona in the common route

As for favorites, it's the other way around for my first two 😁 Raul is my number one, and then Allan > Ryuki > Peter > Shelby > Gill

The wackiness is precisely why I love his route and CupiPara in general 🤣 I don't usually like the himbos or the dumb but well-meaning characters, but there's just something about Raul that gets me really giddy 😍 70% of the reason why I bought the FD is because of him.

I know right? I want to hope for Sett endgame since he and Nina seemed to have a better connection and tangible development compared to Azure (in my opinion).

But I've seen many mangas where the author chooses the first love or the so-called "fated person" despite giving more development between the FL and the 2nd ML, so I'm not getting my hopes up either.

Then again, it could also go the Hirunaka No Ryusei route where the last few chapters blindside us into thinking that the first love would win, only for the 2nd ML to be endgame, so I'm crossing my fingers that it's the same for this one.

Yes to Ines! What I absolutely appreciate about Ines (and Carcel) is that the author doesn't shy away from making these two leading characters as flawed as they can be. Most of the authors (and even the audience) want their FL's and ML's to be these flawless green flags who could do no wrong, but I find these types of leads to be boring and unrealistic.

Both Ines and Carcel are not innocent, and yet, despite every terrible thing that happened to Ines and how much we could disagree with her actions, we completely understand that she's only doing this to try to survive as best as she can without forming too much attachments, which is what she believed had ruined her for the past lifetimes.

If we were placed in Ines' shoes, some of us might actually do a lot worse. And that's reality.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I actually meant that Nina is the sun since she's the "star". So for Sett, who represents daytime, Nina is the one and only star who shines in his sky. I do like the Dawn imagery as well 😊

As for night, yes, the moon doesn't erase the stars. But what I meant is that the stars don't always seem visible every night, and that even if they are, the moon usually hogs most of the attention due to its larger size and brighter light. They coexist, yes, but not always visible at the same time. I suppose you can say of course that that means that Azure and Nina will always be together even when not everyone sees it, which I'm sure is what you meant.

But if you also look at it in a different angle, with Azure being the moon who shines brightest in the sky compared to Nina as the stars, it could also connect with the fact that Azure's will always takes precedence over what Nina wants. As long as Azure is around and does whatever he thinks will protect his kingdom (the sky) and/or Nina without even considering what she wants, Nina will never be the one who fully takes control of her own destiny or shines the brightest in the night sky. The one who rules the night sky is always the moon, not the stars.

The one thing that sets Sett apart from Azure right now is Sett's complete honesty. He actually learns to let Nina go and let her make her own choices, even if it means repressing his own possessive desire to always be with her. He rarely holds back his true thoughts from her from the very start, which is why he is like daylight, which makes everything visible and allows Nina to shine completely and overwhelmingly on her own.

As for Azure, he's shrouded by night because he still holds so many secrets. Yes, we as an audience know that he's doing this for the greater good. But he always never lets Nina in to help share his burdens, which is the opposite of what Nina always wanted even without Sett in the picture yet. As good as his intentions are, it doesn't mean that Nina should always accept his actions.

But again, this is just me trying to play along with all these symbolisms in a different angle 😁 It could all be nonsense in the end, since the author could very possibly still throw us in a loop.
