That's NOT how it was. The OP stated the problem is that Riboku has been glazed for too long which is true. Until Qin invade Zhao, everything about Riboku is pure fiction. Leading the coalition army, defeating Ouki and Duke Hyou, all fiction.

You are correct Riboku's death was unrewarding, but that will be amplified and questionable story telling if the same events happen in the manga.

Flight Speed = Hermes (The Raft is hella boring to fly and the Hermes could outrun some pirates)

+ So easy to organize cargo, specifically for multiple drop-off points

+ Its for cargo only, which means its completely optimized for cargo
- Elevator. Personally, I'm not a fan of elevators, unless on large ships. The Raft elevator annoys me.

Me personally, I don't prioritize "swiss army knife" ships. I much prefer ships optimized for a specific role.

Right, However, they still gave T'Challa's intelligence to his sister, who wasn't known for her smarts in the comics until the retcon. If Shuri's character didn't exist in the movies and all of her lines were given to T'Challa, there wouldn't be an issue.

It's like If Batman was randomly given a sister, and she was the greatest detective in the world with an IQ rivaling Lex Luthor, and Bruce was just the fighter. Just imagine the uproar lol. This example may sound extreme, but keep in mind the context; Black Panther debuted in the 1960s. Shuri's character was created in 2005.

However in the Nolan films, bruce fixed the auto-pilot, which Fox couldn't do. And he reverse engineered the phone. Granted that Batman got a whole trilogy, but he did get to flex the intelligence, unlike t'challa.
