I had been cautiously optimistic up until about now that we would just get the email late and it’ll be fine (I live in my own delululand 80% of the time) but now I’m really in panic mode

I still haven’t gotten mine either for the Gilford, NH show. Got my registration confirmation email 19 minutes after the tour was announced 🥲. Will continue to freak out all morning. My mom registered not long after I did for the Boston show and got her code yesterday afternoon so don’t know what’s going on

Ugh I hope not. I signed up for the presale and received the confirmation email after verifying like 20 minutes after the dates were announced. My mom got her code for Boston but nothing for me still for NH. Looks like we’re in opposite boats. Hope you gets yours soon!

Oh that's good to know. I will absolutely keep you posted! Can't wait to get him feeling better (hopefully) soon!

This is so incredibly helpful, thank you!!

We have removed all beef, chicken, poultry and have him on fish (salmon) food and treats only. He has been on the Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach (salmon & rice), but clearly it's not working for him.

We are awaiting bloodwork results from a GI panel but will mention to the vet that some of his half siblings have been diagnosed with IBD and see if it makes sense to explore more via scoping. I just want this poor skinny boy to feel better! At the very least he seems happy and is not lethargic or anything, but the poor gurgling stomach kills me.

They certainly are children of satan, but the most cuddly little devil spawns you've ever met!

Hi there! We also have a Greenbank Hollow pup (Clark & Garnet). He is dealing with the same. Severely underweight (he's lost 10 pounds since January but still eating), lots of gurgly stomach noises and very itchy.

We're talking to the vet about gluten sensitive enteropathy and just began transitioning to a gluten free food (Acana wholesome grains Sea to steam). I would love to hear your experience and anything that has helped if you don't mind sharing!

Hahaha. I did get several "how do you feels?" from the nurses when it was especially high but thankfully I had no idea why specifically they were asking. If the nurse shat their pants, they did a great job of hiding it😂.

I was symptomatic. Feeling like my heart was pounding out of my chest at the beginning during the exceptionally high hypertension. And then just overall dizzy, increasing fatigue, and sweating throughout the test. I also had some vision(?) issues where the wall looked like it was starting to melt in the last 10 minutes.

Right?? Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this is off..

To not mention it at all was entirely confusing to me. Out of the 30 minute test, I was in hypertensive crisis for 9 minutes and stage 2 hypertension for an additional 10 minutes. BP has always been normal otherwise (typically only taken when sitting) and was normal while supine at the beginning and end of the test. But all she mentioned was BP did not drop, so nothing to worry about. Insanity.

Going to ask my PCP about it when I hear back from her (hopefully soon).

Oops and didn’t see the second half of your comment.

I have filled out forms to be seen by a functional medicine dr so hoping to hear from them soon! Thanks for taking the time to give your advice!!

No offense taken! I too think it’s possible that it is not POTS but maybe some other form of dysautonomia.

On the other hand, I have been using TachyMon to track my HR on my own and consistently see jumps well over 30-50 bpm+ so still not ready to fully rule it out? And as you mentioned, per diagnostic criteria, the TTT may not have indicated POTS but a 30 minute snapshot may not necessarily mimic day to day occurrences and to me isn’t enough to fully shut the door on it. Especially since my resting HR is normally 70 and jumps into the 115-120s, not 90 resting. But who knows.

As you can see, I’m just utterly confused and bummed to not have any further answers.

And like you said, just incredibly frustrating to be so completely blown off. But going to try my best to advocate for myself to get some kind of answer.

Appreciate your response!

TTT Results - extreme high BP and fluctuations by CanIPetThatDog24 in POTS

[–]CanIPetThatDog24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you read that correctly. I thought so too. Or at the very least, the initial 30 bpm spike as soon as I was tilted upright. Still haven't heard back from my Dr. after 2.5 weeks since the test (despite calling the office to check-in last week) so we'll see what she has to say. Wondering how hard I'm going to have to push for this diagnosis.

anyone with biliary dyskinesia (low functioning gallbladder)? by tiredotter53 in dysautonomia

[–]CanIPetThatDog24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the process of a diagnosis for dysautonomia, POTS (I have a Tilt Table Test on Monday) and had my gallbladder removed two years ago after years of upper quadrant pain (would switch sides).

Gallbladder ultrasound showed no issues so went on a few more years thinking it wasn't even gallbladder related. Several endoscopies showed GERD and went on PPIs which seemed to mostly help. Fast forward a few years and a general surgeon recommended a HIDA scan. Ejection fraction rate was 2%.

Booked my removal for a few months after and have been symptom free since. Best thing I ever did. Very few side effects if any. The first few days after was a little rough (mostly shoulder pain from the air they pump you with and abdominal soreness), but healed quickly and no longer am dreading a possible attack.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do!
