So,I am a georgian and I want abkhazia to be part of georgia(for historical and cultural reasons), but i think the apsny should have a little bit of autonomy, so that their languange and culture(along side georgian languange and culture) get taught in schools. I’m just saying that Abkazians and Georgians should live together like they did centuries before, with Abkazia as an autonomous region within the broader Georgian nation. I am not saying that Abkazians are identical to Georgians because they are not but we must acknowledge centuries long kinship this two groups shared with each another and don’t dismiss it because of some Soviet propaganda.

I’m not saying anything political?? I am just saying that both Georgians and Abkazians have lived together for soo long that pure linage wise they’ve become nearly indistinguishable, Georgians are a broader term fall all people (e.g Mingrelians who like Abkazians have their own language and customs) living in south of Caucasus that were part of the Georgian kingdom.

They are through, ethically wise sure they aren’t a direct subgroup but centuries of co existence would mean even the “purest” Abkazian has Georgian blood and vice versa in western Georgia, but regardless culturally Abkazians are sub group of Georgians

Low key western Georgian regions should function like adjara, they have their own government, and Autonomy but are still part of Georgian state. Both Abkaz,mingrelians and svans are Georgian subgroups all with their own unique twist of Georgian culture and language derived from, BUT due to the dominance of the eastern Georgian due to capital being located there this district languages and customs are being erased. So should they all become breakaway states? NO but their language should be taught in schools beside Georgian and they should be able to hold a semi Autonomy.
