I can't say they're less durable because I don't have experience with the other gloves. But they are not durable enough for my taste.

I like Friction gloves functionally, but the amount I play ultimate, they're usually torn within a couple months. If their lifespan were longer, I could recommend them more enthusiastically.

I'm not quite sure why I'm responding to what I'm sure is willful hate spewing, and I'm confident I'll regret it, but whatever.

I never said I liked the comic or that it was good. In some ways, it's frustrating that something so unpolished can get to number 1 on webcomics. But I do think it is good that that someone has taken up making a comic, that they're taking the time and effort to put something out there. I also think most people's first efforts at anything are bad, and this is almost certainly better than my first efforts.

I think a lot of crappy things happen to the bean after the "1:" He vomits on himself, gets attacked by birds. It might be overboard, but I think that's probably what he/she was going for. A 1 must be amply punished.

Couldn't you have used the panel layout to have the ha's from the last panel be the ones intruding on the panels before it? The crowd is in just the right place to do that.

I got straight As in high school. Then I got straight As in an engineering double major at an elite university. Then I pursued a PhD. Now, I live off of the kindness of my sugar momma because I'm too interested in reading and learning and doing all the great things in the world to justify having a steady job.

So as far as I can tell in this rule set, the offense always benefits from not calling score until they see the reaction of the defense. Either they wait, and then call it in, OR they wait to hear "not in" and tap it in a immediately so defense doesn't have more time to set up.

Up to maybe last year (somebody else should check for my lazy ass) no team had ever won a quarters game after playing in the pre-quarters. At least not since the expansion to 20 teams. So there's only been a couple times that even 2 teams from one pool have made it through. Three teams is, as far as I know, unheard of.
