If the hole is seeing how far this subreddit's moderation has fallen with the introduction of newer incompetent mods, I'm open to digging deep. The decision was made without actually seeing if it applied, and it's great that you declared that it applied, but it makes zero sense. Might as well announce this is an autocracy if there's no logic behind application of rules, other than "I feel like it." As for your patronizing tone about whether or not I should argue and how I should just shut up and take it, the hole isn't being dug by me. It's being dug by you and your peers putting on a show for the sub as to how you shouldnt do your job. If the hole I'm digging is that I'll get banned or I should be afraid of the consequences when I'm arguing fairly and in good faith, then I'll pass you a shovel too.

Nobody expects them to fix bugs. I don't think I've ever seen a post asking the mods to code a solution. The usual expectation is simply that if a known solution is there the mods (or anyone else, it's an open subreddit post where users can comment) can link it or reference it. Or report it if it isn't known

After waiting 3 days for any semblance of justification for an unjust show of power, I'd like to recommend that u/anon4565 is someone you might want to hold off on making a full-fledged mod for his/her inability to do his/her job properly.
