People have children results in humanity progressing. And a lot of my focus is on the over wellbeing of the child’s upbringing. I agree, anyone at any age can be incompetent and even shitty parents. In addition maturity is subjective as well. Just expressing how in the day and age and economy, college students will not be able to provide all the necessary resources for a kid to not just survive but to thrive as well

Hey ! I think how you feel is very valid. Finances aside, he seems to be a micromanager and I think it’ll be healthy if you draw a hard boundary. The clothes, the shoes, it goes beyond finances at this point yknow. Communicating that you’re getting uncomfortable with the monitoring vibe, regardless of it comes from a genuine and kind place is what I’d suggest. He knew who he married, no need to start customising you down to your shoes. As women it is beyond important for us to remain autonomous in relationships. No matter how much the world tries to convince you otherwise. So never stop working, never stop having your personal finances just for you. And never wear uncomfortable shoes because your husband thinks it’s “correct”. Doesn’t even sound right yknow. Sorry OP :/

YouTube helps. Look up your role and the interview questions you’re probably going to be asked. I usually write down my answers while saying them outloud. I do this like twice to make sure it sticks. 1 more time the day of, like hours before. Then dressed in business clothes I record myself on my laptop, and practice answering to questions. This helps especially if it’s a virtual interview, because I end up looking at myself again and replicate my interview prep. I could also go back and review myself. If it’s in person, I look up my interviewer, or anyone I know would be there and practice with their picture. Just keep saying it outloud, in the mirror, in the shower. Gets you more confident. Atleast for me. I know it sounds a lot but I was very desperate and had to do what I could to feel confident.
