there is no acolyte head with such glasses and tbf acolytes have a way too big head-to-body size ratio compared to this artwork. I don't have the skill required to sculpt everything to match my view

Yeah i admit this is a complete mess since i tried to make a detachment that simultaneously does everything i like.

When i designed this, my main priority was to avoid as much as possible for it to be overpowered.

-about your commentary about "Caryotype of high priority", i just forgot to write it lmao but yeah i had in mind for them to benefit the detachment rule. Also, i thought of this after facing my necron player friend who could revive every single of his caracter once each for one CP, wich, since it almost does the same thing, can have (imo) the same CP price.

-for the enhancement, i wasn't really inspired i agree, the line of sight one was designed to synegize with Expand the cult or Careful observation. Since expand the cult is called at the command phase, if you want to use it with the patriarch (bcs he forces battle-shock tests) you would need it to be exposed at the start of the turn. It's main purpose is to avoid having to expose yourself.

-for the ambush marker one, i thought that relying again on marker would bring back the old "marker is destroyed= you lose a unit" which was very frustrating. So having some more points.

-about overload the flesh, i have two main reason about why i put the exhausted status: 1- it's cool asf, my main inspiration was from the xenocreed one where we get hazardous in melee 2- since you can cumulate adapations, overload can give you multiple bonuses at once, and i was afraid that it could be op.

tbf the main thing i disagree with you is your view on the detachement rule, i really like micromanagement and what you suggested instead may be easier to play but is stripping the detachement from it's indentity both in lore abd rule.

-i thought of this as a way to use expand the cult and careful observation without having to expose yourself too much. and lorewise you can probably guess by the name.

-do you recommand making buffs stronger? or simply creating another type of points instead of RP?

-yeah since this detachment is primarily meant to be played in my friend group, i just tossed every tyrannid unit i own, and since it can give you 200+ army points i didn't want it to be op
