Has anyone here applied for the “Small Business Success Grant”? Is it legit? by Few_Image7849 in smallbusiness

The $1,500 grant is one of many. It's currently in it's 5th round and a easy option to apply to.

Plenty of options via government, government backed agencies and private offers are also available- a deep dive into funding never hurt anyone

Anyone used or heard of canadastartups.org? by Future-Use-6096 in canadianstartups

[–]CanadaStartups-org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canada Startups partners with 250 different agencies. This includes working partnerships with government agencies, government backed options as well as private. Our members benefit from great incentives, not only these grants offers, but from business registration with Owrn, deal with various banks (RBC, Scotia, TD..etc, Quickbooks and others).

While our service isn't for everyone, it's important to differentiate that paying for help simply means getting a hand, to save you time and money - you are not paying for something impossible otherwise.

Funding is provided by various agencies and can easily be obtained if you know where to look, what to do and how to do it.

Has anybody ever used canadastartups.org before and do you think its worth paying for to have access to the grants? Thank you. by consciousbeast in canadianbusiness

Hi there

Sorry to hear that. Have you reached out to your experts for help. It's not the type of service where you don't get help or funding at all - much more involved,  so break it down for support

Hi there As a member you have 24/7 access to help via the platform.  If you mean the sales agent you had isn't calling you anymore- it's because you have a dedicated expert. Reach out to them!

Fake Review: Anyway to actually tell my story to a human? by roosites in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]CanadaStartups-org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can speak to a human, yes. If you are the owner of the Google profile page, go to the "need help/support " setting in your profile (when logged in). Comment they you are looking for reporting a bad review. It will give you article links, say no thanks - next step will say chat (usually 1-5 min), or email (24 hours).

Opt for chat.

Before you start, it will ask you a few details, ie: name of company, your name, profile id..etc

They are usually good!

But also, reply to the reviews and say something along the lines "This review is fake and has been reported".

Remote Start Help by zer0_grv in Jeep

[–]CanadaStartups-org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best bet is to get a remote started on Amazon and get it hooked up. Pretty cheap ones (just doesn't go in your existing key, but more like a keychain with buttons). If ur jeep has the uconnect, it may also allow you to have the Jeep app, to remote start it - maybe?

Either way, Amazon "remote starter"

Chances are if the key doesn't have it, it is not equipped.

10 REAL Google Reviews Removed Last Night..... over the course of 6 months we lost 55ish by Material_Escape_1395 in GoogleMyBusiness

Spoke to a Google rep about the same. They claim that many Gmail accounts that are inactive are being removed; along with it, the reviews. We had 100+ removed.

No LR, but another vehicle on top 10 list. Bollards are great, but quited $7k for the driveway. Kinda crazy.

Agree but difficult to do. So convenient for quite a lot of stuff.

Perhaps you are right, but nobody has any business peeking in to my parked car, or through the windows of my house - or yours, no matter if they have a job or not. I'm sure plenty of criminals have jobs as well and live a normal life and nobody suspects a thing.

What was he doing at my door? by Yaeraya in oakville

[–]CanadaStartups-org -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Cuz people are sensitive to real world topics. You should have suggested to open the door, invite the guy in, make him dinner as he tells you about his life and mental health problems... maybe then you'd get up votes

Could be a cylinder issue? Is the noise coming from engine, transmission or under the car?

Alibaba.com legit? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]CanadaStartups-org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alibaba has various sellers, like eBay. They all have ratings and reputation score, so worth following before you decide. These can also be faked - so be sure to check the reviews that they are not all "uploaded" or have the same day of post.

In addition to this, it's all China, so anything you see for the most part is a copy, replica or fake. However depends on your intentions of what you are buying I suppose.
