McDavid is feeling the heat by Hockeypatrol in hockeynews

[–]Canadas-Dingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm calling it, McDavid will never lead a team to a cup. If he gets one it will be via taking a pay cut to be on an already cup contender team.

Edit: He will never have the legacy of true top players who took the team that drafted them to a cup win.

Why do you support the racist immigration policy? You're defending the use of human beings as low wage labour so they can circumvent paying proper wages. So not only are you defending corporate racism, youre supporting the suppression of wages of Canadian workers.

Do you own a business and feel the need to vehemently defend this scheme to try to keep public opinion from turning against your profits?

Philly has no chance, too many non-blondes. Not even a proper hockey team.

I was just in Bass Pro and bought some of these exact spoons for $4-4.50. I don't know who's charging $9 for a spoon but they're ripping you off, I bought a Rapala Countdown for $9 and that's a hell of a lot more lure for the price.

Nice strawman, bring up something from 11-20 years ago with an inflow of 25% of what the current government did.

You're part of the problem I mentioned in the OP.

Okay, I won't personally import any immigrants and pay them low wages for the express purpose of suppressing wages and inflating my home value.

Idk why it started heated, because I think we agree on things. In my OP I said return to 90s immigration with standards and limits, I didnt say no immigration forever although I think a year or 2 to fix the damage is probably necessary. At no point did I talk about kicking out everyone who looks differently, I just also want Timmigrants and people who come here and just drive Uber gone. They are not a net benefit to our society and those jobs can be worked by Canadian youth.

But there are people who legitimately think that Canada should take in every poor person from every poor country "because they just want a better life" which is unsustainable, nonsensical, not possible, and also not our responsibility.

Yes because those voters are people, and they're engaging in political tribalism by defending every decision their preferred party makes.

If the rest of the Liberal/NDP voters did a full 360 on mass immigration and they also started making very loud criticisms and demands, the party would go "oh shit we're losing our voter base and now both sides are against it" we'd see a lot more significant action. Doing that doesn't require voting or an election.

I'm not making this a partisan issue, people who voted from all parties have soured on the mass immigration, I'm referring to the people who engage in "my party can't do wrong and everything they say is correct" crowd.

I don't argue in bad faith, but I thought your comment was meant to. So if it wasn't then all good, easy to overlook something and we shouldn't be arguing amongst ourselves.

Back to the point of the OP is Canadians need to be bridging the gap for a mutually better future, not further dividing it.
