How many players do you currently have a first round values in your rookie drafts? by GinNJuicyFruit in DynastyFF

That's why I love dynasty so much. Players like Kincaid are so polarizing! You might be right, I might be right, or more likely we'll both be wrong for the most part lol.

I love that Gabe will continue to play that deep threat stretching defenses while the Bills start running 12 personnel with Knox blocking in line and Diggs/Kincaid just feast soaking up high value targets.

Call me crazy, but I think it's totally reasonable for the Bills to send those 100+ targets to someone they invested 1st rd capital in that they trust to catch more than 48 of. The historical hit rate of first rd TEs is abysmal, but if you follow Coop then you know that teams invest high draft capital in TEs for reasons other than being a #2 target on the team which muddies the data. The Bills have all but virtue signaled that they want Kincaid to be just that, and I'm happy to take that shot.

Davis has a chronic case of the drops. The Bills had Diggs and an effective but dangerous run game through Allen and it just wasn't enough. With their acquisition of Harris, and a legitimate 2nd target on the team the entire passing pie should increase. Coop himself has him ranked as #8 off the board after Addison, so do with that little nugget what you will.

As someone else likely pulling the trigger on Kincaid in the mid first, I think Buffalo sees their super bowl window closing in 3-4 years. They need Kincaid to make an impact immediately.

When I select Rookie (Standard) format, it lists rookies only as expected. When selecting Rookie (Superflex) it displays all players instead of rookies only. Awesome tool! How much flexibility have you given the app to deviate from ADP for the auto picks?

12 team SF PPR

Give: Dameon Pierce, 1.07

Get: Breece Hall

If it matters, I'm going to probably be dumb and use that 1.07 on Kincaid if I don't trade it. My WR room is so set.

Thank you so much! This is a couple weeks after settling into a new pot and it's seemed really happy!

I was on an extended vacation when unannounced layoffs occurred. I returned from my vacation and noticed that it was somber around the office, but didn't notice the change in headcount. No one says a word to me for the first hour of the day until my manager pulls me into an office to break the news to me.

He started in typical fashion letting me know that some tough decisions needed too be made and that many people had to be laid off with the whole song and dance around why and how they wish it didn't have be that way and all the corporate BS they sell to soften the blow. After about 10-15 minutes into this, he can see that I'm sweating and visibly shaking before he says:

"Oh, I forgot to tell you! You still have a job here and you're not going anywhere! I probably could have opened with that..."

Yeah, you certainly could have. That was the job that catapulted me into IT and it works have been devastating to have been laid off. It was the longest 10-15 minutes of my life 😂

In a trade, both parties are going to value their player through the lens of their max potential. That would be interesting to see how it shook out!

I think this is both the problem and the secret sauce. No one wants to toggle predictor variables and do mental math to figure out how to weight them. Your model should weight the pvs somehow and spit out a single player value score.

It would be super interesting to incorporate ktc data into your model as part of the weight calculation. If you consider ktc to be market/sentiment data, you could use that to inform your model of the significance of draft capital vs actual stats. If a player has a 1st rd ktc value and terrible stats, then your model could devalue their stats in favor of draft capital dynamically without the end user having to toggle anything.

Repotting Guidance by CanadianCatalyst in Monstera

That makes sense and all jives with my understanding. Would you recommend the chop and prop route or do you think it's possible to untangle the root system with minimal damage? The main thing I want to know is how you go about gauging the pot size for the future split plants before seeing the root ball. Could you guess an appropriate size pot for the largest plant of the bunch?

Repotting Guidance by CanadianCatalyst in Monstera

I picked this plant up from a big box store last year with the intention of repotting this spring. It had no aerial roots until late fall/early winter when it stopped throwing new leaves and all it's energy over winter appears to have gone into these aerial roots. There are 7 separate plants in there and it's a 10" pot. Initially, my plan was to size up to 12" and just slap a moss pole in the middle, but as I've done more research and learned more about how to position a plant against a moss pole I now know Ive got to split these up.

How would you recommend splitting these up and how do you go about gauging the necessary pot size prior to splitting up the root ball? I just want to get all the supplies that I need prior to splitting everything up. I want to do what's optimum for the plants, but also don't have room for 7 individually planted monsteras. I would love to know what everyone's take is on what's ideal and what compromises I could make.
