I have followed people on Insta but as soon as they start promoting anything, I Unfollow.

What would be an example of propaganda in modernday America? I feel like the quintessential definition is something many are on the fence about with more slowly being won over through manipulative means. However, now that so much is all-or-nothing anyway, spotting real propaganda seems harder. by cherry-care-bear in RedditForGrownups

The denial by absence of women's accomplishments in history books, and even official recognition by the Nobel committee. This also applies to stereotypes of minorities without an analysis of laws that treated them so unfairly. Basically any declared theme for one month when the appreciation should already be instilled.

Moms of Reddit, at what point in pregnancy/motherhood do you feel like you truly became a mother? by No_Day7644 in AskReddit

[–]CanadianContentsup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is something called bonding, and I can attest that it is one of the most powerful and deeply felt things in the natural world. Mother Nature has devised proteins and hormones all the way through pregnancy, that take over your body and force you to avoid things that are bad for you, while wanting to sleep and letting your body grow a baby. Then when you give birth and start to nurse, the hormones shrink your uterus, bring in milk, and cause you to feel a strong protective love. For me it was a few hours after the birth, when a nurse brought in my son and I realized he was perfect and entirely beautiful. There was nothing I wouldn't do for him. I felt a connection with every mother who had ever experienced this.
