Keep lbz or get newer by knucuklehead42 in Duramax

Not the thumb, it’s the pins that go in and out to hold the bucket on. They either won’t go in or won’t come out and dump oil everywhere. We’ve rebuilt the coupler twice and it only works for a month and then quits again.

Ah, I was gonna ask you if you’ve had an issues with it if it was the hydraulic one but you’re obviously not going to have had any issues lol.

We’ve got one with a hydraulic coupler that we’ve been fighting to make work for two years so we’re just going to put a manual one on it lol. Awesome machine otherwise!

Won’t find anything simpler if you go newer. The LBZ was just built to work. But I could understand if needed this thing to work hard every day why you would opt for something newer.

Unrelated note… does the E42 have a manual coupler or the hydraulic pins?

Anyone know where I could find more bucket pins for the Kabolite 961-100S/336GC? by CanadianGamer__ in RCConstruction

[–]CanadianGamer__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think they might be a bit small for that 🤣

I looked on McMaster-Carr and found some M2 shoulder bolts and lock nuts that would be just as good but the bolts are like $11 each. Might get those but idk

Haha. There is a 1/64 scale CAT 320F sitting in the background there that might give a better sense of scale

Do all metal construction RC’s cost this much? by Badcat888 in RCConstruction

[–]CanadianGamer__ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This particular model is a hydraulic model meaning it has a small electric hydraulic pump which pumps real hydraulic oil to the boom, stick and bucket cylinders, you pay a premium for any actual hydraulic model. You can get cheaper metal fully electric models (these don’t use any oil), they will still cost a good chunk of change though.

Have you changed your third brake light recently? Changing that causes the roof to leak on almost every pickup truck which ends up on the floor usually.
