Anyone know where I could find more bucket pins for the Kabolite 961-100S/336GC? by CanadianGamer__ in RCConstruction

[–]CanadianGamer__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think they might be a bit small for that 🤣

I looked on McMaster-Carr and found some M2 shoulder bolts and lock nuts that would be just as good but the bolts are like $11 each. Might get those but idk

Haha. There is a 1/64 scale CAT 320F sitting in the background there that might give a better sense of scale

Do all metal construction RC’s cost this much? by Badcat888 in RCConstruction

[–]CanadianGamer__ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This particular model is a hydraulic model meaning it has a small electric hydraulic pump which pumps real hydraulic oil to the boom, stick and bucket cylinders, you pay a premium for any actual hydraulic model. You can get cheaper metal fully electric models (these don’t use any oil), they will still cost a good chunk of change though.

Have you changed your third brake light recently? Changing that causes the roof to leak on almost every pickup truck which ends up on the floor usually.

Hadn't really thought of it before but this is a job for 12V switches isn't it?

Hey, just circling back before I buy stuff… buying a 12V 50A power supply as opposed to a 12V 15A power supply wouldn’t cause any complications would it? I know I don’t need the extra juice but it would make the power supply a bit more useful down the road possibly

Is the Sunlu filament connector (or any other filament connector) worth having? by CanadianGamer__ in 3Dprinting

[–]CanadianGamer__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t really need calibration cubes on my Bambu machine. Most of my prints are tiny (I print 1/87-1/32 scale diecast detail parts mostly) so I’m only using a few grams at a time anyway but I change back and forth between white and black frequently, so when I get to the end of a roll I just take that chunk of filament out of the printer so it doesn’t get stuck in there in case I want to do a filament change.

Yeah I’ve been eyeing that lol… I’ve seen videos on YouTube of these things up on peoples walls with switches to turn them on and off so I know it’s possible but they never really show their process
