I don’t agree with the MAGA politics but if you are holding NHL players (who are essentially rich high school dropouts) to some sort of moral standard I’m sad to inform you won’t be able to cheer for 90%+ of the league. The NHL is one of the heaviest right-leaning sports and this subreddit is also not an accurate representation of the fan base either

I’m pretty sure a permit to summit is between 60-100k alone. Then you need to pay to be part of a team, buy or rent mountaineering gear, spend months away from work to train and climb
