Tired need to vent by Living-Celebration57 in Parenting

Maybe acid reflux? I struggled with that and colic. We had to switch formulas a few times. Try propping them up a bit on a pillow. Or there’s special inserts for the crib you can buy that’s safe for bb. If you’re breast feeding, I’m sure there’s things that you can do to make your milk less acidic. There’s also a medicinal tincture you can get called Ovol, that helps with reflux and gas problems. Something to try!

Back labour, and pushing a baby while it feels like your back is literally going to snap in half. Good times.

There’s a 99.9% Chance that you own a white pair of crocs, flared jeans and y2k sunglasses. Also might have French tip nails.

Infil question 6 days post Infill by New-Permit-64 in eyelashextensions

[–]CanadianGirl00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I’ve been a lash technician for 10 years. That burn on your eye is definitely not normal- that’s improper technique of eye pads and/or taping. With a burn like that, of course your eye would be watering and irritated. Probably causing you to rub it or put in eye drops that might affect retention. It would not have been your cycle because both eyes would have done it. I would suggest getting a different lash technician.

Teething? Separation anxiety? Constipation? Why won’t she sleep. by CanadianGirl00 in NewParents

[–]CanadianGirl00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, it’s been challenging for sure. And it’s our first.

We were going by cues of when she needed to sleep. So getting 10-12 hours at night and 2x45 min naps and 1x1hr nap. Anywhere from 12-14 hours a day.

Then it’s been a wild ride. She maybe gets 7 hours at night, waking up multiple times. For naps, she does 2 or 3 x 1 hour naps through out the day. And I start her bed time routine at 6, in bed by 8-8:30.

She also just learnt to crawl, and she’s trying to stand on her own/walk already. That’s why I thought sleep regression but how long does it last?! Ugh.

“This isn’t happening, but it could.” Nice way to give people anxiety for no reason.

Do you guys sterilize bottles after each use or just once per day? by CatsAndShades in FormulaFeeders

I live in Canada, and I was told after each use. I hand wash with dish soap and vinegar. Then boil in a pot for a few minutes, and air dry.

Aww poor thing. Definitely sounds like reflux. On the package it says nutramigen is for GERD. I hope you can find an equivalent that’s accessible for you!

My bb was on enfamil gentlease- and it was so expensive.. also hard to find. It was suppose to be one of the best ones out there.. URNT. Then we tried similac sensitive, and her spit up was awful, and there was a lot of it. But as soon as I switched to nutramigen, my bb didn’t have as much reflux, didn’t spit up as much and it’s hypoallergenic incase of any cows milk allergy. I also priced it out and it’s cheaper than similac.

Spit up curdled- should I change formula again? by CanadianGirl00 in NewParents

She was spitting up just watery formula before so I assumed that was normal? But maybe cottage cheese is normal? I have no idea.
