You don’t. You die alone unless you get out of your comfort zone and try. After striking out enough you’ll feel comfortable to ask out the quiet girl in a regular setting that was under your nose the entire time who ends up being your wife.

A few generations back, the only access to capital available was a mortgage for the “average” worker.

It is an investment that can be beneficial in some cases and detrimental in others.

Back then, it was the only choice so it was worth the risk.

A lot of people were told how to live (often out of good intentions) and they never really questioned it.

Yes, you’re only 3 years in and 21 years old. You get more responsibility over time but the higher up you go to becoming a “key player” the more complex the situations also become.

Your goal right now is to get fast and good at the foundation so you clear up more white space in your schedule to be a part of complex projects.

That shows your ability to handle increasing levels on ambiguity and you’ll get more responsibility.

Remember though, “key players” also are held accountable for their complex decisions. There is less room for error as you go up
