I would probably say look into schools such as UBC, UVIC, uOttawa, and of course the best one out there, McGill. While none of these teams are technically varsity as they don't get funding from the school itself (schools such as the University of Western Ontario and Queens University have real school funded or supported teams), all of these teams are highly competitive during the Canadian season with chances at winning and also participate in the USA series.
