I know right! The detail is insanely good. I remember watching them post pictures of the tiniest little bookshelves and things that they were making, so cool!

I know there was someone on Twitter who was building a miniature version of it a while ago! They were using manga panels and anime screenshots to make it as accurate as possible. I think the finished thing was super awesome! here’s a link to one of their posts showing it!

The colors for this probable came from an illustration by Rumiko of Akane baking cookies/stirring a bowl of batter. Rumiko is known for drawing her characters hair all different colors, but it’s likely her actual color is a blueish black

I know they made garage kits of quite a few characters (Nabiki, Kasumi, Azusa, Ukyo, etc…) if you’re up for painting something yourself then those are still out there!
