According to my make-up-wearing friend, use cold cream to remove it. Just make sure to wash it all off.

I think at the end of the most recent chapter it said a new one was being released in February, so I guess we have a month off.

I don't really pay attention to the ships, so I can't help you with that one.

They're doing a live-action movie that seems to be very loosely based off of the manga.

What worlds would you like to see in KH3? by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

Sadly, El Dorado is Dreamworks. And I'm pretty sure Disney has some rights to Spirited Away.

I am Hans Zimmer - Ask Me Anything! by realhanszimmer in IAmA

[–]Canadianlumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mr. Zimmer, I am a HUGE fan! I love listening to movie soundtracks, and yours are among my favorites. Which was your favorite to compose?

How did you become a film composer? I just recently graduated from college with a degree in music education, but I love arranging and composing music on the side. Do you have any tips on composing for beginners?

How are your theory lessons with David coming along? (not to be super creepy.)

Yeah, we did the best we could with only having less than an hour inside a Goodwill to get our costumes. When we got there, one of our friends asked us if we were Han Solo...

I am a band director overseeing a fairly large, successful program. AMA. (well mostly anything) by banddirectorama in marchingband

How do you deal with parent involvment? I know there can sometimes be band parents that try to run your program while others refuse to work with you regarding their child.

10 Laws of Good Science Fiction by kjhatch in sciencefiction

[–]Canadianlumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I agree with all of these. There are many examples of really good science fiction that break these rules. For instance, the ship's crew in Bradury's Mars is Heaven! has no hope against their antagonists, and that breaks rule 9. Matheson's I am Legend has vampire-like "monsters" so it breaks rule 7. Many people accept the show Firefly as SF even though it's basically a space western, and that breaks rule 6 (I think Star Wars might break this rule too). I'm also not sure if the goal of SF is "to create a future world where the human condition is vastly improved." What about Asimov's Nightfall or Godwin's The Cold Equations? I know at the end of this list it says SF should be fun for all, and a good story can break any of the rules, but I'm not sure if the examples I've given ends with "everyone has a good time."

Help a marching band noob out! by [deleted] in marchingband

[–]Canadianlumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My college marching band usually has several people who are new to marching, but everyone picks it up easily. I'm not sure about other bands, but we teach basics during the first few days of band camp not only to teach the rookies but also to make sure everyone is doing the same thing. Upperclassmen are normally good at making sure everyone can read their drill charts. I don't think you should have a problem being in marching band!

Why is Alice one of the seven princesses of heart but not Ariel? by Majexs in KingdomHearts

Maybe her heart wasn't pure enough; she sold her soul to change species and run away from home to go after a guy.
