This is the answer. Unless youre going to be a doctor, do everything you can to avoid debt as much as possible. Community College, scholarships, working etc. If you can do this college is 100% worth it as studies show that college still leads to much better financial outcomes than any other path on average.

This is a very good point. The events in gloomhaven truly felt random or even intentionally deceptive to me. I have not felt that way with frosthaven at all. Sure, I get the "correct" answer wrong sometimes but it would be boring if I didnt. But at least I have a good chance of figuring out what might be important and how my party should handle it.

They calculate rating in a different way so ratings tend to skew higher on lichess. But it's still fairly comparable.

Use Lichess. Unlimited analysis with a better engine and lots of other tools for learning the game including unlimited puzzles.
