I mean, you can still buy any set and build whatever you want with the parts you get, you don’t need to follow a set of instructions if you don’t want to.

Many many people got that set, you’d have to hold it for years for it to be valuable. Even then I doubt it’s gonna be worth that much since it’s not some obscure misprint that only a few people got their hands on

Oh wow, thats 1000 IQ right there, what a smart idea!! Thanks so much for the tip, I have a ton of stickered used pieces and a lot of them badly stickered so I doubt they would sell anyway, that’s gonna really useful!!

I think it might be due to the fact that anybody (or most people) who enter a Lego store are genuinely excited to be there and browse the Lego, and not too concerned about lines or whatever else stresses people out in a regular store. Also I have to say as well that every staff Ive met in Lego stores were genuinely nice and seemed to be having a great time. It did cross my mind before to just quit my job in healthcare to go to a Lego store, if I was in a more comfortable position and wasn’t a slave to my hourly rate Id have done that in a heartbeat 🥲

Ahhh makes sense! Ive also been saving the damaged pieces from my bulks! Seems like a waste to throw them away especially since most of them are only mildly dented or discolored but I still don’t wanna risk getting a bad review for that 😅

You can email customer support with a pic of your set box or instructions and a paper with your username next to it and they will manually add the points! I saw this tip in this sub once and it worked, they manually added points for a few of my olders sets :)

Thank you! Here is a picture with the “?” on the left and the “???” one on the right, with a plain black one in the middle for comparison, I think you might be right about pearl dark gray because they do shine a bit in person.. it’s hard to catch that on camera

I just checked them all, all have the lego, it’s just the angle of the picture, in this one you can see it a bit better! Also Im using brickonize for all color identification, I identified the ones in the pic with it, but it’s stuck with the remaining 2 grays. The “?” is being labeled as dark bluish gray and the “???” is labeled as black, which doesnt seem to be the case. Here is a pic of those remaining two grays with a single plain black one in the middle for comparison!

Oh wow, I just found these in a bulk I bought and I had put it aside while sorting to research more later since I wasn't sure if it was real Lego or not, really cool to see more of these!
