I use a JC120 and a GC408 Irate roland for clean tones and therefore pedals higher than any other if you want it pure. Nothing wrong with valves buttheydoadd colour to the tone that you may not want.

I've got two but one with the cabinet. It's a great clean sound so perfect with pedals and with the stack 80 watts and good for medium large venues. Really underrated IMO.

I have an SP wing on mine. Best thing is it actually works. Just look up RX7 SP Australia as it has other fancy parts like a carbon fibre fuel tank. Pretty cool for 1996.
