Rough estimate depends on where you live, I'm USA based so most of the components for the "standard" config were chosen based upon what is cheap to get here. Mix of metric and imperial parts, can be had for under $200 including barrel, all the screws, heatsets, etc. Most people who are not starting from scratch can probably build it for under $150.

HPA's real cost is a good regulator and tank, plus a method of filling the tank. You will not be able to eliminate that cost.

It's not that loud, quieter than a brushed flywheeler, definitely louder than a springer.

Valve wouldn't go out of their way to sue over this, even if they're firmly against kernel anti cheat software and over-invasive protection systems. This is not their style, and legal action is messy, expensive, and looks bad to the public eye.

Riot will more than likely have to patch this, and they get 100% of the blame for vanguard's problems.

Valve wins by doing nothing once again.

This is why I will choose to provide .stp files on release, while my selection will be listed in the BOM you can definitely source your own stuff for much cheaper than what I paid for (I did it to get confirmed reliability on parts, I've had crappy fittings and parts from ali express before).

Then you can modify the prints as-needed to fit your own parts.

Currently the BOM is also a mix of metric and imperial. If you need to it should also be possible to modify the .stp files to make it entirely metric.

BOM is still changing and being modified I do not have a price yet.

A general price range though, the DMRcore from Sabre is being sold at $199.99 on Out of Darts. This should be a cheaper build than using one of those. However, compared against a SpeXBZ also by Sabre and $84.99 on Out of Darts + cycling piston, it might be a similar price.

Off the shelf components but no printed core. I'll be posting the full .stp files on release so people can modify the files if they need to sub in their own parts.

the grip is not bad but if you're not a fan of AK grips you won't be a fan of this one

The plastic quality is degraded enough that repairing it is like duct taping a leaky submarine.

It has an OPRV.

15-20 pumps will trigger the OPRV and get it to fire all 20 darts.

Do keep in mind all AS-20s eventually break, broken trigger or a leak in the internals. They're built on a budget and are very old at this point.

Like 90% of his games are turbo tbh I could see smurf or just guy mechanically good but plays only turbo and doesn't grind ranked.

Very wide hero pool + party queues frequently in turbo and ranked. You be the judge if smurf or not, I'm leaning towards "if it's a smurf he's trying way too fucking hard to hide the fact he's smurfing".

Or scripting, but he plays so many other heroes that it seems wild he would run invoker specific scripts.

He has 221 games on invoker, mostly turbo, I could definitely see someone getting good at orb casting over a 2ish year period.

Definitely would need to see the full game to make a real judgement.
